Nuggets didn't give up. They just got Rid of their 3rd best player for cap Space and flexibility. and for the Short term if there's anybody to get the most out of McGee It's George Karl.

It seems like your laughing at the notion you can't build around Gallo and Lawson. Future All Star type players IMO.

Exactly. It's not like this is Boston trading way Perkins or something.

Denver is about the same with or without Nene. Honestly, "production-wise" there's not a huge gap between him and McGee. When you consider their contracts it becomes a no-brainier. Great move by the Nuggets. If I were a season ticket holder, I would be happy to know that my front office had sense enough to know when to cut their losses.

I think Washington actually failed.

Nene is OK but not worth 13 million over the next five or whatever years.

He's already on the downslide of his career.

We'll see if Wall can make him look dominant, but I doubt it.

I'd rather let McGee leave through free agency and not taken Nene and his contract.

If this was any other team, I'd agree about the contract.

But if taking it meant getting these 2 idiots off the team ASAP, then it's worth it, especially since it's not affecting their flexibility(Word of the Day)in the future. Still got a long way to go but it's a step in the right direction.

Finally, The trade deadline is over with... that thing was driving me crazy LOL.

Eh, I feel you. But in the end, this isn't the first time Fish peaced out. Not to mention he had his run in with Miami two off-seasons ago. Still owed 3.4 million, to do what? Sessions and Blake will make better use of those minutes, and as long as he was on the roster, his parking spot was reserved as the starting PG. LA's FO has been clear they are trying to cut costs, and dealing Fisher just echoes that (not to mention the brilliant inclusion of Luke in that Sessions deal). Gotta do what you gotta do.

I don't mind bringing in Jordan Hill at all, to boot. McRoberts and Murphy definitely can't play back up 5. Worst case we don't run the team option next year and more cap Busschak got off the books, with the TPE still left over.

Yep. got to give props to Lakers FO today. I didn't think they would ever be able to trade Luke Walton. Buss must have hired a hypnotist and sent them to meet CLE's GM to get them to take him. LOL
