Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
All I know is, this is exactly why folks like myself were saying at the beginning of the year that this dude had the value of bubble gum wrappers in the trade market. Obviously someone will take a chance on him and make a move when a Lamar Odom is in a trade, but you can't sell me that some fair exchange was made in a trade with the Lakers when you take back Odom cause he's mentally weak and taking him out of LA was going to be bad no matter where he went. As a professional athlete if you get traded, you couldn't ask for a better situation than to get traded to the defending champion whom happens to play in an awesome city on top of that with an owner like Mark Cuban who spoils the hell out of his guys. No defending Odom in this at all man.Comment

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he doesn't deserve blame for what has happened with this situation but I do believe he deserves somewhat of a pass.
This was the best way to go about things for both sides. Just agree it didn't work out and move on. The Mavs don't need this distraction while they're trying to defend their title and Odom obviously needs to take a step back for a moment and deal with his off-court issues and then go from there.
All I'm saying is I don't think we should be wishing the worst on the guy, even if him (and the Mavs) completely mishandled this situation.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
That doesn't surprise me at all. He should've realized that he was messed up and put a stop to this a long time ago. A simple Hey coach my head isn't in this at all *hands back a big sack of cash with a large $ sign on the side. There was no need to drag this out so long.
But seriously I can't believe so many people are defending this guys actions so much. If I go through something tragic and start slacking at my job and not showing up do you think they would just give me a free pass? Fair enough if it has effected him so much he can't play but the guy is being paid EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS, let me repeat that, EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS and can't even show up on time when he lives across the street?Comment

Well to be fair, nobody knew he lived right across the street from the Arena itself until today.#RespectTheCultureComment

Not sure what you're trying to say but please don't confuse my post with me defending him at all because that's not what I was doing at all.#RespectTheCultureComment

Oh I definitely understand why ya'll are glad and it's because he didn't do anything or wasn't even the same player that was in LA. He was basically a waste for ya'll, really.#RespectTheCultureComment

The Crazy/Strange part about the Kardashian thing is...he wasn't the only NBA Athlete to mess with one last year.
Humphries went thru that same TV Show nonsense Lamar did and he's doing just fine for himself...and he's in ****ing New Jersey of all places.#RespectTheCultureComment

not saying youre defending him man, not responding solely to you prob shouldnt have quoted you.. just saying that folks who havent watched the Mavs very much dont understand what a bum Lamar has been all season long and why most Mavs fans are happy that he's gone from the team
