Winning anything doesn't have a thing to do with Executive of the Year. Since 1986 only 1 executive whos team won the NBA Finals won executive of the year and that was Jerry Krause in 1996. And, only one other Executive who one the award even made the Finals and that was Jerry Colangelo in 1993. So, that argument doesn't work and BTW Bucky Buckwalter won Executive of the year as executive of the Portland Trailblazers in 1991 and they only made to the Confernce Finals that year.Comment
