Are things about to get Nashty on South Beach? Well..next year anyway.
Talk about a perfect fit. Amazing passer, great teammate and deadly outside shooter. Not to mention clutch and almost perfect free throw shooter for crunch time.

I highly doubt Nash signs a mid-level exception, which is what he'd have to do to play with the Heat.

Not at all. I'm not saying they'd be worse with Nash, but they would be adding a defensive liability and taking away one of LeBron's biggest strengths, running the point.

Why? Nash doesn't seem like a 'money is everything' type of guy so that would be his best shot at getting a ring.

Not to mention Steve also already has career earning in excess of 100mil so it's not like he needs the money.

Speaking of earning this list of players who have made more career earnings than MJ (basketball contracts not endorsements obviously) is pretty crazy.

The NBA has handed out some serious wads of cash to its players. While some of the names on this list, like Shaquille O'Neal , are hardly shocking to most, others, like Juwan Howard, ...

Some of them like Damp and Damon Stoudamire blow my mind.

lol @ Nash being on the Heat.

Yeah okay, he's gonna be the third ball-dominant player on a team comprised with people who don't remotely fit his personality both on and off the court. Yeah ok. I'm really sure he's going there, bro!

but it could add something to lebron's game that he's never had. playing with someone who could actually get him easy baskets

Could you imagine a Nash/Bron pick n roll?

I think Nash turning down money is way more laughable then the idea of him joining the Heat.

Nash has proven he enjoys that green.

Belinelli: I started to be a real NBA player when I got to New Orleans

Marco Belinelli doesn’t think the Warriors gave up on him, however. “They changed the team,” he said. After just one season in Toronto, Belinelli’s numbers dropped, as he played in only 66 games with one start, averaging 7.1 points, shooting just 40 percent and 38 percent from beyond the arc. “I started to be like a real NBA player when I got to New Orleans,” Belinelli said. “They believed in me and trusted me. People worked with me, and they believed in me. That’s everything. If you’ve got confidence in yourself, you can be good in this league. “Everybody in our organization helped. Dell (Demps), Monty (Williams) . . . . Last year (former Hornets assistant now with the Warriors) Mike Malone worked a lot with me on the court and off the court. And it’s the same this year. I work every day with the same dedication, and I love being here. I’m very happy.”

Steve Nash talks Free Agency on the Dan Patrick Show. He said if the Heat were to make him an offer, he'd definitely listen:

I see him going to LA before I see him going to Miami.

But I doubt he goes anywhere. He loves it Phoenix. He hasn't left yet and he's had ample opportunity to request or force his way out. The whole team is based around him, the medical staff keeps him young, his kids are happy, yada yada.

Not gonna happen. He's gonna retire a Sun.
