If you're Miami, and the legendary Steve Nash says "hey, I'll take a discount deal to play here and fit under the cap & help get a ring", you wouldn't take it?

If Nash doesn't have the ball in his hands at all times to distribute, he wont be NEARLY as effective. Also, Wade and LeBron aren't exactly lamp-lighters for three pointers or long-range shots. Also, Wade and LeBron love the ball and are most dangerous and able to utilize their skillsets with the ball. Having Nash on the team will render them very, very expensive pawns.

So it's either make it Nash-centric, or do something that severely cuts the benefit of bringing Nash in in the first place.

      It's not gonna happen, lol.

Take this for what it's worth:

Apr 1, 2012 - Michael Jordan told team executives recently that if the team's on-court fortunes don't turn around within a few years, he'll look to sell the Charlotte Bobcats, reports Mitch Lawrence of the New York Daily News. Jordan bought the team in 2010 from founder Robert Johnson. Jordan had previously owned a small stake in the Washington Wizards.
The Bobcats are the NBA's worst team at 7-43. Charlotte has unabashedly stripped the club of most veterans in order to pick up high draft picks and rebuild with youth. The Bobcats have been in the playoffs just once since their 2004 debut.
Lawrence reports that MJ told general manager Rich Cho and other basketball execs that if this rebuild effort doesn't result in a winner and a team that doesn't bleed millions of dollars every year within the next 3-4 seasons, he'll look to sell. A new revenue-sharing deal that came out of the NBA lockout should make it easier for Charlotte to become profitable, so long as the Bobcats can get buy-in from local fans. It's difficult to do that with a 7-43 record and stunningly few exciting players.

Gee, Mike, maybe it wasn't a good idea to have your team's best player be Gerald Henderson.

What he's saying makes sense though, and really shouldn't be surprising considering it's coming from probably the most competitive athlete of all-time.

If I remember correctly, he was the one to push for the Bobcats to rebuild (in other words, tank). If the rebuild doesn't go as planned, he's going to cut his losses and get out before he has to go through the rebuild after the rebuild. Can't blame him really.

He's a great player but I've never been a fan of his antics.

No surprise here. KG has always been a bitch. Like death and taxes, some things are just unavoidable.
