          So long, JET.

Jason Terry wants to sign a "long-term" contract this offseason.

“It’s a tough situation,” Terry said. “I’m finally in a position where I can kind of predict my own future, so to speak. I want to stay here in Dallas.
That’s always been my goal. But it needs to be long-term. If they’re not ready to step up and do that, then I’ll have to make my home elsewhere.”

Terry isn’t interested in signing a one-year deal with the Mavericks.

“I won’t be here,” Terry said if the Mavericks take that route. “You can count on that. If they’re doing that, you won’t see the Jet on the runway in Dallas. But my time here was good.”

Duhwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, Scottie Pippen and Yi Jianlian to star in a Chinese Movie. Talk about a strange cast:

The legit ones I've met are awesome though. Sucks that they get overshadowed by the vast majority of crappy fans that pop up there whenever things are going smoothly.
Their "fans" are honestly the only reason I don't like the Heat, although how Wade plays the game is starting to wear on me as well. Living in South FL a few of my best friends watched their games before the big 3 all the time. Now I see nothing, but Heat stuff from people who know nothing about the Heat or basketball itself really or typically only watch during the playoffs.

              Bandwagon fans annoy me.

Agree completely. Nothing worse than bandwagon fans. In any sport, *cough* Tebow *cough*

he was already talking about how the Heat could use a shooter like himself this offseason in the middle of this year

I've never been more confused about the NBA salary cap than I have been since the Heat joined up. JET wants a long term deal but he's looking at the Heat? Every time a player of decent caliber hits FA the first thing that pops up as possible landing spots is Miami.

Yeah, he knew Dallas wasn't going to pay him anything, so he might as well be looking at future options. Even though it was kind of tacky to be doing it midseason. Still got love for the jet. Help bring D-Town a ring, so I can't hate him.

Depends on who pays him because Chandler was going to get paid regardless. I don't think the same can be said about JET unless some GM wants to be 'that guy' and pay him for what he did in 2010.

What about him going to Chicago? Obviously not to start at PG but one could say he would be a slight upgrade over Kyle Korver, don't you think?
