Doesn't say he intends to sign with the Suns. It's funny how deadset it seemed like he would end his career in Phoenix. I have strong doubts now.

Or maybe it's like he said in that he doesn't need a ring to prove or stamp his greatness, in which case he'd be right.

Yeah, it's definitely his choice. Those comments about him not NEEDING ring shouldn't be confused with his desire to get one though...

If he does stay with the Suns, more power to him...that's his decision. I just wish people would stop calling it the "right" or "loyal" decision..

                Then what is it?

If he leaves Phoenix and goes to say....Miami or LA or Dallas, then people are saying he made a right decision but if he stays in Phoenix, then it's somehow not a loyal decision?

IMO It's just that: a decision...

I don't think there's right or wrong any way he goes...

If it's just a decision then what's this noise about people not being able to say he deserves a ring if he signs back with Phoenix? If he stays with Phoenix and they make a serious run out West to the WCF again and a fan says they're happy for him because he deserves a ring, that's not cool because he chose not to sign with Miami? But there's no right or wrong decision to be made here? Get outta here with that man. Whatever decision Steve makes, if he truly thinks about it and it's truly what he wants to do with his probable last deal is the right decision no matter what anybody else says. We may disagree with it whatever it may be, but if it's truly what he wants to do, it's the right decision.

People are so infatuated with what they think he deserves. They care more than he cares, and they think they speak for him.

Let the man make his decision.

True but you were putting words [that he wasn't goin anywhere] into the man's mouth just as much as anyone else, Trix. Just sayin

Yes, but my comments were based on things that have actually happened....like him re-upping after disasters, never requesting a trade or causing locker room disruptions, etc.

Maybe I was mixed up, I was mostly going off you saying there is no right or wrong choice. There's no wrong choice at all but there is most certainly a right choice. Doesn't matter though we agree that he needs to do him at the end of the day and not whatever anybody else wants him to do.

Different note, saw this on my Facebook newsfeed.

I think if Phoenix goes out and somehow acquires a really good perimeter scorer (Eric Gordon or someone) and maybe another piece as well, then Nash will stay. If not then he'll bail. The only thing is, to where?

Personally it's hard for me to see him going to Orlando now because of the way things are currently with Dwight. He could sign there in the offseason only to have Dwight dip after the season and he'd be stuck in basically the same situation he's currently in.
