Re: NBA Off Topic
Because the NBA owners are to short sighted to realize that whatever affects other franchises affects the well being of the overall sport. It's like most of them could care less if a franchise is loosing money like a faucet. As long as my team is making money, I'm fine.
They only come together when they get to screw over players in a lockout. But when it comes to a bigger issue like this and why the NBA is really loosing money and credibility, then most of them couldn't care less.
This is why a respect the NFL owners and what they do. Yeah, they're greedy bastards just like their NBA counterparts. But they have enough sense to come together when they feel that the health of their sport overall is better for them instead of trying to isolate themselves.I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. ...but I would think that a small portion of the revenue sharing would resolve stuff like this easilyComment

Wow, the sac town arena deal has basically died. My heads spinning. Just a few weeks ago sac folks were thrilled. Not sure what to think. Seattle seems primed to make a move but I don't like sac losing their team.

The figure I read earlier is the Maloofs are squirming over 3.26 mill or something close to that. With the lockout as a backdrop not sure the league would even consider dropping the money. I know Sacramento has done their part, something like over 200 mill dedicated to a new arena if it goes. Maloofs suggested renovating Arco today, Kevin Johnson scoffed at it.

Hold the hell up...
I just looked at triple doubles this year to see that Serge Ibaka, Drew Gooden, and JJ Barea all have a triple double!
