    Best call by Breen.

I'd have to take Kevin Harlan over both of them, but in this contest, I'd take "YES!"

How come you guys don't like Simmons? I think he's hilarious.

Also, I'll go with Marv... because I'm old.

The sad part is I would actually buy a shirt with this on it.

3 teams he wouldn't start on. Making him, what, the 4th best center in the NBA? Maybe for a single season. Not over a period of time.

Looking at relative success, Simmons is higher in his field than Kaman is in his... there's no doubt. You might have more respect for basketball players, but Simmons is undoubtedly higher in his field. Also, Simmons' place in his field is based on a presumed, intangible talent, while Kaman's is obvious and tangible, which is why I have more respect for Simmons' hard work to get where he is. But that aside, as an athlete, one should understand that the media has a job to do, and comments on a player's athletic ability should be accepted because, HELLO, it's their job. If invalid, the player can state why or whatever, but don't call the guy a douche. It's his job. Personally, this is why I liked Cuban's response: though snide, it was very true, in that Simmons has never run a professional team. Kaman's comment wreaked of "saltiness" or bitterness or plain being a douchebag. Call Simmons a douche for doing his job? Okay, Chris. You're in the NBA, you're so special, you're above criticism. That's the way I look at it. Your view is fine too, but I disagree.

I did the easy math on 90% of 30 = 3, but that's just my reading too into the number, which is no big deal. I agree that he was once top-10 (even 5) and an all star, but I don't think that makes him immune to criticism or better than Simmons. Again, when you have such a natural talent, I don't think you should act like you're above others. That's what I got from Kaman.

                      I like Albert's "YES!".
Not trying to label you, it really does sound like a bitter comment. Maybe it's just ignorant. If you suck at basketball maybe you just don't realize how much work actually needs to be put in to play at that level. Just being a 7 footer doesn't carry much weight past high school, trust me.

We can agree to disagree overall though... we're just going in circles for the most part so that's fine.

lol, he wrote it wrong in that post but I said 90% of the league which would mean 27 teams and he said more than 3 teams would have better options to start. It's really 27+3 = 30 so his math is correct, just written wrong in the reply.

Kidd is one lucky dude. I know he flipped his car in college too, an incident which has been pretty lowkey... he actually fled the scene.

                            Freaking piece of work, lol.

DUI talk is always touchy bc it deals with "what if". What if you killed someone? That then brings into question if such extreme assumptions should be brought into talk about someone nailed at a sobriety check, asked to step out of the car after speeding or just swerving on the road. This guy ran into a freaking telephone pole. I think all drinking and driving is bad but I do think there are different categories of HOW BAD. There's the "what if" side and then the "You should be locked up for not giving a ****" side. This is definitely the latter.

I didn't read anywhere that he was badly injured. I thought his injury's were minor.

He's an idiot, I am glad that he didn't hurt anyone nor end up killing himself.

But yeah, Kidd is one lucky dude. He's one of my all time favorite players but this mistake just makes you say "Damn dude, why?!"
