Maybe Kobe is trying to motivate Smush like Michael did his teammates? Lets prep for a Smush return to the NBA and a Kwame resurgence! lol

Don't you know this is one of the 10 Basketball Commandments?

"Thou shall not put thy name of our Lord and Savior of Basketball(Jordan)in the same sentence as thy Devil's Name himself(Kobe)".

Damn, who would've thought sorry *** Smush Parker would be the cause of all this commotion.

How'd I quote the wrong person? You were saying Jordan is an ******* just like Kobe as if somebody was in here saying he wasn't. I don't really care about their personalities either obviously so what does that need mentioning for? Jordan is one of the biggest ******* celebrities in the world, not looking for the dude to be my friend, same as Kobe. However the conversation was talking about something Kobe said and ex decided to bring up Michael to try to deflect from Kobe and he got called on it. Not being hypersensitive as you and OSU were implying/saying or making a big deal about Jordan the savior being mentioned in the same breath as Kobe as Pack said. If Jordan had been part of the discussion I wouldn't have even batted an eye, but the fact he had nothing to do with this particular strand of conversation and yet somehow it needed to be brought up that Kobe isn't on his level of ******* deserved a response imo, because to me it made little sense to say it considering what we know about both.

The last 2-3 pages say otherwise though, lol.

Whenever those 2 are mentioned together, that's when the essays come out on here.

If that's the way you wanna look at it whatever I guess. I don't think that's the case though. Being overly sensitive would be whenever anything remotely negative about Jordan or Kobe came out and it was a big deal. This really isn't a big deal and like I said, I wouldn't have batted an eye if he left it at Kobe being the biggest toolbag franchise player since Jordan. Even if he was talking about LeBron or Kevin Garnett or somebody I'd have taken issue with that last part because none of them have done what Kobe has done. It's got nothing to do with Jordan vs Kobe but moreso ex saying something absolutely ridiculous.

It does. I wonder how much truth there was to everything Smush said.

What Kobe said was pretty accurate even though it was quite jerkish of him.

I'm totally fine with doing all that as long as it's private. Not talking to the media like, man.... Cartright is the worst. Why do you think I shot so much... or Cartright doesn't deserve to be in the NBA to the media...

Kobe really cracks me up though, what's his excuse for leading the league in field goal attempts in the last two years? He had more than enough options to go to. Sounds like Kobe is looking for a scapegoat

                              Kobe posted this on facebook:

                              Leadership is responsibility.
There comes a point when one must make a decision. Are YOU willing to do what it takes to push the right buttons to elevate those around you? If the answer is YES, are you willing to push the right buttons even if it means being perceived as the villain? Here's where the true responsibility of being a leader lies. Sometimes you must prioritize the success of the team ahead of how your own image is perceived. The ability to elevate those around you is more than simply sharing the ball or making teammates feel a certain level of comfort. It's pushing them to find their inner beast, even if they end up resenting you for it at the time.

I'd rather be perceived as a winner than a good teammate. I wish they both went hand in hand all the time but that's just not reality. I have nothing in common with lazy people who blame others for their lack of success. Great things come from hard work and perseverance. No excuses.

This is my way. It might not be right for YOU but all I can do is share my thoughts. It’s on YOU to figure out which leadership style suits you best.

Will check back in with you soon.. Till then
                              Mamba out
Only in the brain of Bean is putting down teammates equal to elevating them.
