Re: NBA Off Topic
Is there a league rule against it? If not, Stern should have no right to punish the Spurs. Pop is the coach. He can do whatever he wants with his lineup.Tennessee Volunteers

Re: NBA Off Topic
Sooooo Michael Jordan got busted for dress code violation on a golf course at a Miami Country club. Cargo shorts are not allowed there.
Michael Jordan said Thursday he did indeed refuse to change out of cargo shorts while playing golf recently at a Miami Beach country club, but he said he was hardly being a rebel.
Michael Jordan said Thursday he did refuse to change out of cargo shorts while playing golf recently at a Miami Beach country club, but he said he was hardly being a rebel.
"I've been there many times and no one told me a thing," Jordan told ESPN Chicago by text. "Then all of a sudden they come to me on the 11th hole and say I can't wear cargo shorts. Wow! The round is almost over and you want me to buy shorts now? Yeah, right!!"Comment

Re: NBA Off Topic
They should be able to play whoever they want. Now if it's because they didn't travel with the team or something that could be a different angle Stern is playing.Comment

Re: NBA Off Topic
I don't think it's stupid. It's one of those 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' kind of things. On the one hand as a coach, if that's what you want to do to preserve your players, that should be your decision and shouldn't really be something to punish. Then, on the other hand and I believe 23 said this as well, the NBA is a business and people pay money to see the stars of the NBA. The NBA is a league that markets stars more than any other league on the planet so it's especially ****ty to pay those ticket prices or tune into coverage of these games and guys are not playing in the first damn month of the season. That's crazy.Comment

Re: NBA Off Topic
Stern's just pissed that it was done for a nationally televised game. If it was just a random Spurs/Bobcats game or something, he wouldn't give a ****.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

That's what I figured when TNT was making a big deal and Kenny was just whatever about it.

Re: NBA Off Topic
Exactly. Pop is giving a minor F U to the league, benching his main guys on the national spotlight game, under the guise of doing it previously for season stamina reasons. I'm not gonna lie, it makes me like Pop even more.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment
