Part of it is the fact that the game is in Houston this year and yes part of it is due to the fact that hes popular in the Asian community, which is why I said earlier that voting should be taken outta the fans hands and given over to players and coaches, I realize popularity is part of the process but the guy simply shouldn't even be in the conversation when it comes to all-stars

Re: NBA Off Topic
Think you're missing the point of my post. My post I quoted was from the Lin thread last season when everybody was on their Linsanity kick and talking like he was actually going to win the MVP last season and like he was seriously going to continue averaging 28 ppg or something. I raised this exact situation happening this year as a result of Linsanity and I got hit with the 'you care that much about the All-Star game' and 'he's not gonna start' blah blah blah talk brushing it aside. Now here we are and we're talking about All-Star voting being a joke again because of Lin. So yeah, I hope he starts.Comment

However, I still hope he won't be voted in, simply because he doesn't deserve it. The voting formula should be changed asap. I wish all-star game was kind of award for a player's performance, a sign that he belongs to the best the given season. Now it's just like some kind of facebook contest.NBAComment

Two Bulls fans were shot in Philly after the game. It's just so stupid and senseless.
Two Chicago Bulls fans were shot after an argument with two other passengers on a train in Philadelphia following their team's 96-89 victory over the 76ers on Wednesday night, police said.
The shooting happened at 10:39 p.m. at 4600 Market Street when a 36-year-old man and a 30-year-old man got into an argument about the teams with two males, described as 16 to 19 years old, according to Officer Jillian Russell.
The 36-year-old man was shot in the stomach by one of the teens, and the bullet went through his stomach and struck the 30-year-old man in the thigh, according to Russell. The two teens then fled the train.
The shooting victims are in stable condition at an area hospital, according to Russell, who said no suspects are in custody.
It is uncertain whether the Bulls fans were in attendance for the game at the Wells Fargo Center.

Re: NBA Off Topic
Been playing catch up on his other NBA vids. I can only watch a parts at a time so I don't start cackling out loud laughing and making the office think I am actually insane.
