      14 blocks? That's impressive.

Sure, that's why throughout that playoff run of Utah's they mentioned that Fisher was flying from New York - where the best eye doctors and specialists for his daughter were located - to the playoff games against Golden State. I'm happy that his daughter eventually pulled through, but he's still a coattail riding dick that used her unfortunate situation to bail on the Jazz. I'm pretty sure that whatever I assume about his daughter and her past situation didn't matter because her father is a multimillionaire and can afford the best care wherever he is playing.

And is again using his family as a crutch to leave one situation and (probably) ending up in a better one. He seems like a good guy and obviously loves his family, yet it doesn't change the point that he wants to be in a (title) winning situation. Do you really think any of this stuff would happen if he was playing in Los Angeles, New York, Miami or if he was still with Oklahoma City?

All I heard was "Derek Fisher made one of the greatest plays in NBA history against my team, so I'm pissed and making asinine assumptions".

The man cares about his daughter's health. Not playing for a ****ing contender. Get over your biases please.

If Fisher ends up on another team, then we can talk about all of this but until then let's pump the brakes on the judgment.
              NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
              NBA: Dallas Mavericks
              MLB: Texas Rangers

                What judgment

Dude said he misses his family but won't close the door to his career

Fly them with you...take a leave of absence... But don't leave one team to go to another again

Dallas needs to stay away from old lakers players

If Cuban isn't displeased then that seems to say it all on the matter. Plus it's 60 year old Derek Fisher, he'd be flattered to know at least 5 posts have been made concerning him at this point of his career.

What is it with athletes not being able to control their Twitters?

Kyrie Irving posted a picture of himself with two pretty fine girls and then says it wasn't him who posted it and magically the picture disappears.

I like how he went into panic/damage control immediately after. If your gonna say it wasn't you and you got hacked, don't say it 2 minutes after the picture. C'mon man lol

LOS ANGELES — He was nicknamed “Flight White’’ and “Flight 75’’ in college because of his leaping and dunking ability. Now that he’s back in the NBA after an Italian League hiatus, Knicks reserve swingman James White is being nominated by the Players Association for the All-Star Slam-Dunk competition February in Houston.

White was approached by union officials last week about the dunk competition. The union has more influence in the Saturday night skill competitions in the new format in which the conferences compete against each other. A team captain will be chosen for the East and West and make the final call on participants. A league source said the Knicks’ Steve Novak is expected to compete in the 3-point competition.
