Its fine what you read, buddy. The guy is a coattail rider and you believing otherwise doesn't change that point. He's a winner and hit a big shot that amounted to nothing because Detroit won the title. He's been a great role-player and thorn in the side of Spurs fans (even last year with OKC), but that doesn't change my opinion of him.

You are acting like other players haven't had family issues arise and dealt with them. As a professional he should ride out the year with middling Dallas, but instead he'd like to go to a winning situation and is using his family as a crutch (again).

        Yes, yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've wanted to see that dude compete in a NBA dunk contest since he played on the Spurs in '07. He can do some absolutely amazing dunks and I'd love to see him against Terrence Ross, Gerald Greene and Eric Bledsoe.

I don't know why Kyrie would want to settle, when he could have girls just like that..

I'm not bitter, but my haterade runs deep for certain players that wear certain jerseys.

I'll drop it though cause it really isn't a big issue.

It really is an honest and valid criticsm though, not even haterade. Lamar Odom pulled the same ****. He gets shipped out of LA and get's all butt hurt and requests to get moved and then when he does and the red carpet is rolled out for him, he ****s all over Dallas and tries to act like his problem was his rough summer. If the situation is that bad, ask the team for a leave of absence. Don't sign on with another squad until the situation is sorted out, but don't be so in a bad way that you can't play somewhere that's "coeincedentally" not likely to be a contender only to end up somewhere that's a much better situation contender wise.

I agree with you King but Lamar and Fisher's situations were different.

Odom simply quit on the season and on Dallas, while Fisher asked out of his contract to sign with another team. Not the same thing.

Edit: My bad I thought you were referring to Fisher's situation with Utah. We will see if Fisher even signs with another team this year.

I'm talking about both Fisher situations. While it's not exactly the same thing as Odom in the circumstances of what happened, I consider both quitting on your team. He bailed on the Jazz to relocate to a city and team with "the right combination of specialists" for his daughter. We'll see what happens, but I think it's fairly obvious that he's either going to end up back in LA or with the Thunder or Heat.

Yeah and for reference, no one in Dallas is really upset at Fisher. The interest in the Mavs has really fallen off without Dirk, its really kind of sad, although not surprising, Dallas is a pretty fair weather town. Mavs still get really solid attendance numbers though, we've developed a lot of diehard fans. I would be more upset at Fisher if he did this later in the season but he wasn't really with us long enough to make a huge impact on the team and its probably better for our future that he's not here, we'll get a better evaluation of Collison, Dominique Jones and Roddy B.

I don't know. Fisher flew in to Salt Lake straight from seeing his daughter after a procedure into the middle of a playoff game, that's dedication. He at least gave them his all during that season until they were eliminated. Odom's *** just never showed up at all basically. I give Fisher much more credit than Odom.

Anyway have there been reports he's even talking to any of those teams

I still can't wait until the Clippers come to Dallas for the first time and Odom enters the game for the first time. The boo's will be overwhelming.

I should get tickets for that game...
