It's crazy to see professional athletes still growing

@LSUhornet17: Dell Demps just told us that Anthony Davis has grown a half inch since coming to New Orleans. Said MRI's show growth plates still open

So not only will he pack on more muscle and sheer mass. But he's going to get even taller? That puts him at a legit 6'11" in shoes.

Its amazing how everyone on that team is able to jump. Even Chris Paul with the 2 hander of the backboard. Nice.

Demarcus Cousins has now changed Agents, which means it's only a matter of time before he ends up somewhere else.

Who is desperate enough to trade for that headcase? He's got top 5 center in the NBA talent, but he's so damn immature that he may not be worth it.

Derek Fisher has been granted his request of being waived and is using the usual crutch of "family issues" as the reasoning. Don't be surprised if this leach ends up on a contender in March or April.

Has he used the "Family Issues" card before when asking for teams to release him?

                Also,

“If I wanted to, I could lead the league in scoring, but that’s not my job here,” James said.
“My job is to do a lot of everything — rebounding, passing and defending so that takes away from my scoring. I’ve done (the scoring title) before. I’m capable of doing it, but my game sometimes doesn’t allow me to have those big nights.”
“I’m shooting 54 percent from the field right now, so if I shoot 54 percent at 25 shots a game? Pff, that’s like … doing my math … that’s 27 points right there. That’s without shooting free throws and shooting 42 percent from the 3-point line.”
“I could do it if I wanted to,” James reiterated.

When a reporter brought up the fact that Bryant took 46 shots when he scored 81 points, James laughed and said he wouldn't be able to do that on this Heat team with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh also needing the ball.
"There's only a couple guys in the league that can do that, shoot 46 shots and Kobe is one of them," James said with a smile. "Melo, KD, maybe when he's feeling it. Monta (Ellis). Wow, 46 shots. I don't know."

Well, I guess you can say he used that "card" when his daughter was diagnosed with eye cancer...but I would say that's a valid excuse.

Lol @ LeBron....dude is still under-aggressive at times,...he still bails out defenders who have no business on him quite often.....

I wish Lebron would just go out and average 30 every year he really could do it if he wanted to

Lebron is tryeing to do what it takes it to win it all, not average 30 points/game... Unlike someone else.

It wasn't a legit excuse when all his daughter's medical care was in New York, yet he re-signed with the Lakers to help win two more titles. That's the reason Utah fans claimed he lied.

I'm going to guess that Derek knows a little bit more about the situation than you or any Utah fan.

Personally, I don't like to assume things when we're talking about the health of a guy's daughter, but hey, you go right ahead.

Regarding Fisher, I don't like him so I'm biased, don't ask me why lol, it's just one of those sports fanhood things where you randomly dislike certain guys. I don't see anything wrong with asking for a release to tend to family issues, but if that's the reason why sign with another team? If you only need a short period of time to take care of your business, I'm sure your team would be glad to grant you a leave of absence.
