The Memphis Grizzlies and Phoenix Suns are engaged in trade talks centered on forward Rudy Gay, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Rudy Gay is averaging 17.8 points and 5.8 rebounds this season. (USA Today Sports)The Grizzlies have been shopping Gay to multiple teams, and found an interested trade partner with the Suns, sources said.
There's no framework of a possible deal in place, but the Grizzlies have expressed a strong desire that any package involving Gay include Suns forward Jared Dudley and future first-round draft picks, sources said.
In an effort to avoid paying luxury tax in the short term, as well as get off the $17.8 million and $19.3 million owed Gay in the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons, new Memphis management has aggressively shopped Gay. The Grizzlies have made proposals on Gay to several teams, front-office sources told Yahoo! Sports.Comment

Couple things. Scott Skiles....I don't really know what to say about that guy. I wanna say he's a good coach or at least decent, cause he can make your team stable and he can turn them around at least on the defensive end. While Thibs have made the Bulls a top flight defensive team, Skiles got guys like Deng on the right path to being decent to good and beyond defenders. All that said, I'm really not sure if he's suited to be a head coach because he will ALWAYS lose his team because after a while guys get sick and tired of him. His style is one where these guys are going to hate him after awhile and this just shows that again.
Other thing, this type of thing is exactly why I can't see the Knicks getting out of the East. Not yet anyway. They get way too emotional when it's a physical game out there. They get taken too far out of their game because things are getting rough on the court. They need to address that ASAP if they wanna do some real damage come April-May-June.
And finally, if the name dropped in a deal for Rudy Friggin Gay that Memphis wants back is Jared Dudley, then Bulls I need you to get off your asses and make that call. I personally like Luol and what he brings to this team and think he'd be a fine third option for a championship Bulls team, but I would most certainly part ways with Lu for Rudy.Comment

Skiles is a good coach but he eventually wears himself out with somebody. Last year, I met him and the Milwaukee Bucks coaching staff and you could tell he is a real emotionless dude lol.
