Yes. As many as two years at Key, then moving into the new facility south of Safeco Field.

I thought they relinquished the rights if a team were to be in Seattle. That's why they are the Thunder, not like when that ****ing ****head George Shinn moved the Hornets, they were still the Hornets in NO.

I was thinking that as well but even if they didn't, what I said would probably happen either way.

So it's kinda a win/win if Seattle does in fact end up getting a team again.

Correct. The Thunder own all the Sonics records, but the city of Seattle retained the rights to the name "Sonics".

I still love the original logo.

Not to crap on the guy, being that he just passed away. I google searched his name (strange, I know) to see what he looked like and lets just say he had a shady past and was "registered".

Either way, RIP.
