If T-Mac and Kobe wasn't a rivalry then I don't know what a rivalry is.

As in a rival between fans which main debate was who was better which was just insane..

i disagree, Kobe isn't on par with MJ I don't think their rivals at all. A rivalry has to be equaled both ways, I doubt MJ looks at his career and says oh Kobe was my rival...

Kobe has current rival, I think him saying he doesn't get amped up for games against certain players is total BS, like for example I'm sure he gets amped when he plays Nash, Lebron/Wade and when he used to play shaq. I see it as an angle of him thinking he doesn't have an equal which is truly absurd

Those 2 years in Orl? Yea he put up great numbers but hardly enough to crown him King (Kobe was best in the league) or even rival Kobe and the Lakers...TMac missed alot of games and The Magics were between mediocre and terrible..

Not to mention his years in Hou where he became streaky and never made it out the 1st round..

Houston didnt even face LA in the playoffs until Tmac suffered injuries and went onto a decline.

Nothing about that says rivalry to Kobe and the Lakers imo.
