I still struggle to believe Durant 3 ball 8 ft behind the arc is the only thing OKC has to end a game. Works I suppose.

How did Dallas fall asleep? It wasn't a 2 or 3 point game, it was a one point game so you have to defend the run to the basket and things inside the 3 point lane and they forced a super long three, Durant just made a great shot.

Anyone who was doubting whether or not Dallas is going to do well this season hopefully got silenced. They played solid defense, forced turnovers, showed some good looks on offense and they still didn't even shoot the ball particularly well. The Thunder saved themselves by shooting lights out from the field. Good win for the Thunder, I think they still win the West, but Dallas is going to be okay. Those two days off and that day of practice really came in handy. I don't think anybody honestly expected Dallas to be on the verge of winning the game.

There are obviously still a lot of things to improve, but at least this looked like a basketball team. Hopefully there's no hangover tomorrow night against the Raptors.

And about Mavs fans pulling their hair out...absolutely. We finally start playing well and the Thunder shoot over 60% from the field and Durant makes a ridiculous shot to win the game.

What I loved most about the Durant moment was that his mother came onto the court to celebrate with him

She is one of the most down to earth athlete mom's I've ever talked to. Even though I haven't met many lol.

this might be the season Durant might be top 3...keep improving on the defensive end and it seems like his passing has improved passing out of doubles faster

KD was a stud last night, but their offensive sets are still suspect....

Very impressed with KDs improved handle and pass out of the drive though...

If you'd stop for a second and think instead of jumping to conclusions, and maybe asking me why I'm a fan of these teams you'd understand. If you notice my registration date with this username it was in the 2004 NFL offseason, a year after the Steelers went 6-10. I'm a fan of every other Dallas team except for the Cowboys because for one thing, my parents are Redskins fans after living in DC in the 1980's and not really having teams when they were kids, and when I was a kid, I fell in love with NFL Blitz and subsequently, Kordell Stewart because of NFL Blitz so when I started watching the NFL (around 2000 or 2001) I liked the Steelers and I've been a huge Steelers fan ever since.

As for Alabama, my dad grew up in Alabama, grew up as an Alabama fan and went to grad school for some time at Alabama.

And what kind of bandwagon fan would register with a name that's devoted to one team?

EDIT: And I'm not sure why my post offended you so much, its not like I didn't give credit to the Thunder.

The Knicks looked so lost last night. I know Amare doesn't play the 5 position anymore. But he needs to drive (and post up more). He didn't start putting the ball on the floor until it was too late. And Melo is not a point guard. He is a scorer (one of the best). Stop trying to make him into some point forward.

The Blazers game last night was just all types of awesome.

Jamal Crawford is a PERFECT fit for them with Roy gone. I think he came in and scored 7 straight points for them in the 3rd or 4th.

So I know alot of you guys love offensive execution. How do you feel about drawing up that Durant play? It worked, it's worked (this is about the 3rd or 4th time I've watched it play out), but it just strikes me as crazy to rely on Durant shooting it from that distance.

And yes I know it's better than Kobe Iso into getting stuffed, beside the point.

I love the way their team is set up. Even after losing Roy and Oden (did they ever really have him? ), they're still a strong team that, IMO, is a darkhorse to make some noise this year.

If I do get around to getting League Pass Broadband, I'm pretty sure they're going to be one of the teams I choose.
