Great win. The Bulls were dead in the water for most of that second half but they found a way. This game and the first game today were awesome. I'm so glad basketball is back.

Exactly, the best crowd in the NBA. Only matched by Utah and Portland. I still miss the Seatlle crowd and the old Key Arena.

The things a Laker fan can take away from the game is that Steve Blake is much more comfortable in an open offense and that McRoberts is going to be instant energy and hustle. He doesn't try to do too much which is exactly what you need out of teammates of Kobe.

At the same time, you gotta wonder if at some point LAL trades for a PG or Blake becomes the starter.

Sigh...it's a joke. Yeah, we can say Bynum would've had an impact on scoring, but we could also say the Bulls would've shot higher than 40%, including that 5-23 3rd-quarter, and that if Rip was more involved in the offense, we would've won.

A win is a win is a win.

Whatever makes you feel better I guess. Lakers win with Bynum in my opinion. And comfortably.


Anyways, Thunder are looking sluggish. Don't like Westbrook nor Durant's level of play right now. Need to pick it up. Way too much standing around on defense.

It's not really a sign for any of these teams. Don't read into too many of these games until about 4-5 games into the year, IMO. If the same problems persist for a week or two into the season, then teams have problems.

Durant is the reason why Jimmy McMillan ran for NY governor. The kids need to eat breakfast lunch AND dinner. Obviously Durant just cant afford food in this economic climate. He's playing like he needs some waffles and OJ right now.
