I also didn't like when they interviewed LeBacle after the game. How he starts explaining to us how all teams put out their best effort against them night in, night out. How they are all playing their best possible game in essence. Yes it may be and probably is true, but who doesn't know that already. You guys were the three that had that ridiculous Big 3 moment on stage unveiling yourselves to the Assosciation & Heat fans.

Other teams deal with this or have dealt with this, it's nothing new. Defending champs, historically great teams, etc.

I'm not saying he's making excuses, but you lost a game no biggie. No one is expecting you to go 66-0 (well maybe wizzleman). You don't need to tell us that everyone is gunning for you as the explanation.

As far as ESPN though, I've learned to just ignore it.....have to do what you have to do as a network I guess...Last week it was a meltdown about Kobe shooting TOO MUCH in the 4th lol

So I'm watching SportsCenter, and I look to the left of the screen, and what do I see? "LeBron Disappears." In my head, I instantly facepalm myself, because I don't feel like sitting my cereal down to do it for real.

But seriously, ESPN ignored the fact that Wade went 1-8, Chris Bosh didn't make a shot, Mario Chalmers didn't make a shot, in addition to others, to get on LeBron for not being aggressive. I could care less if LeBron isn't attacking, if he passes to an open man, that player has to knock the shot down.

It just irritates me when I hear, "LeBron still looks passive, he looks like he doesn't care, etc." It's like, this dude has flat out balled the entire year, and yet he only takes 1 shot in the 4th quarter this game because Wade was having a great game, and now he doesn't care? Now he's disappearing? What if LeBron WAS being aggressive, and he only went 2-6, and he took shots from Wade? Then it's LeBron not being clutch, coming up short again, etc.

Because of his history, its going to be a story every single time it happens. For me however, same for the bad as the good. Do not care. May do a double take when I see it, but it's really a non-story unless it starts happening in May and June. If it's going on then, we have a problem. Happening here in January, who really cares?

Yeah that's true. I love ESPN, it's my favorite channel, but that's ridiculous. If anything, Wade didn't show up by going 1-8, but they ignore that to take shots at LeBron.

I actually feel bad for him because he's in a "damned if I do, damned if I don't" type of situation w/ the media. If he get's aggressive and misses shots, then he's not clutch, he didn't show up in the 4th again, he struggled in the 4th again. BUT, if he passes to open guys, and takes maybe 1 or 2 shots, then he's not being aggressive enough, he's disappearing, he doesn't care.

And I think Tim Legler said something like, "Look, I know Wade is Batman on this team, but your (LeBron) the leader, you're considered the best player in the world, blah blah blah be more aggressive bs." It's like, really? LeBron is the ESPN/media-proclaimed Robin, but yall still expect him to take charge?

Sorry about my rants, it just irritates me to no end. Seriously, if the Bulls can't make it to the Finals, then I hope to GOD that the Heat burn through the league and win a title, and LeBron hits some 4th quarter shots like he used to, so the media can shut up about it.

That's true, but LeBron was a performer in the 4th quarter before though. Also, it's not like LeBron was chucking up mindless 3's out there; if players make their open shots and Wade goes 3-8, then LeBron not shooting is a non-issue because he'd have about 2-4 more assists added to his stat line.

They don't need to take 3 pointers, they have Jones and Chalmers to do that.

They're 8-2 so can't argue with the success. Not to mention Wade being out with the injury skewing things. If they can be effective without shooting the 3 then that's great, means they're getting to the basket more. Can never be upset with guys looking to get the higher percentage shots.

It means they're doing what they do best, attacking the rim. And judging by LeBron's FG%, he's doing it damn well. Haven't watched a lot of the Heat games so I don't know why D-Wade is shooting so "poorly", not poorly really but lower than I thought he would be. Any word on that?

Edit: Just saw that he's banged up. That would explain it.

Mavs are 6-2 in their last 8 games

we will see how much they have gelled tonight against the Celts. It will be tough however, considering Boston has been resting since Friday and this is the 2nd of a b2b for Dallas. This would be quite a win for the Mavs if they can steal it.
