By the way, Dallas doubters, on TV, on the radio, in print, on this site, are looking really silly right now. I don't care who you're playing, when you only give up 60 points and 23 in the first half, that's ****ing impressive. Mavs have quietly won 5 games in a row too and Lamar Odom seems to possibly be coming around.

And people wonder why the Hawks always seem to underachieve.

Must be frustrating to make the playoffs pretty consistently and have a solid team that can compete and beat anyone in the league and look up in the stands and see empty seats everywhere.

I think it got more to do with Atlanta being a college football city than anything. People only care about pro sports during the playoffs. Tune into a local Atlanta sports show any time of the year and it's "Bulldawgs Hour".

We just lost a professional hockey franchise this summer and no one said a word about it. The Falcons got knocked out of the playoffs for the third time and no one cares.

It's just the city, man. If it aint Bulldogs football, nobody cares. That's the sad truth.
