Vince Carter with another nice game. He's been looking good lately. Mavs are starting to get rolling. They are going to be very dangerous.

Totally agree 23. It's cool to see KB go off but as a team it just destroys the Lakers when it comes to the better teams. Amazing how everyone just stands around and KB has no intention of passing. Even Morris was looking for the pass and KB pretty much was like "Just watch this scrub"
Mike Brown and the Laker brass really have some decisions to make if they are planning on making a serious run at the title this year.
Check my FB page and all the lakers fans out here had nothing to say about this
Very first post I saw was "has fisher scored all year?"
I mean he passed him the ball when the game was over ..lol
Wonder what Mike Brown is saying in the lockerroom right nowComment

Bynum will be gone by the trade deadline.
Not necessarily because the Lakers want Dwight, but because Bynum would want out. I can't imagine a dominant center wanting to concede about 5-10 EXTRA touches to a guy who wants to shoot all game, especially if he's stated he wants his own team before.
Guess Howard will be coming after allThe poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

So after reading that article about Lamar Odom and the stuff he faced over the summer I do feel kind of bad for him, but if he was going to play like this maybe he should've taken the year off to get his mind right and be ably to physically prepare himself for the 2012-2013 season to make a comeback because he hasn't seemed right all season.
The Mavs next game is in Los Angeles against the Lakers, hopefully Lamar is able to wipe the nostalgic tears out of his eyes so he can see what's going on in the game when he's in. I also wouldn't be surprised if he accidentally passes the ball to Kobe. Or maybe this will be his coming out game and he'll finally show all the reasons why we brought him over here in the first place.
Still confident that he'll be coming around, at the very least he's not playing selfish.Last edited by SteelersFreak; 01-15-2012, 01:28 AM.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Re: Game Discussion Thread 1/9/12 - 1/15/12
He didn't even look for Pau or Andrew in the entire second half.
They were wide open at times. Andrew had much smaller guys on him at times like Reggie Evans, yet Kobe didn't even look at him.
The few times he passed to Pau there was like 3 seconds left on the clock. That's not distribution / getting guys involved.
I really felt he just wanted to keep the 40 point game thing going tonight and that was his main motive.Comment

It's crazy that after 15 years in the league he still feels the need to prove that he's the best. What's even worse is he actually thinks anybody in the league who is in contention gives a damn about him scoring 40 points. He's so worried about proving to everybody that he isn't finished, that he is actually making their point. He's more worried about points than Ws.
I always knew he was the most insecure star ever but damn. The only person who cares about him being listed as the "7th" best player in the league is him. Leading the league in scoring isn't going to change that when we have another early exit in the playoffs.
Sorry for the rants fellas but I can't go back to the isolation kobe from 4 years ago because we all saw how those seasons ended."This is for all of my peoples who understand and truly recognize. Some won't get it and for that i won't apologize"- Talib KweliComment

Exactly. Well put, "Iso Kobe" = destined to go out in the first or second round with Iso Kobe averaging 30.2 ppg and walking off the court looking pissed off with everyone.
It's just way, way too easy to see that happening again at this point unless he starts to realise he's got the best front court duo in the game standing there being ignored.Comment

Kobe is the oldest player to score 40 in four consecutive games. He's also the oldest player to have no friends.

I thought I would never say this but the Clippers are the best team in LA. May change before the seasons over but for now. Clippers are the better team especially if Kobe doesn't change his selfish ways and we all know Kobe is not gonna change. Hell the man has a new Nike commercial!!!The poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

Clearly Kobe is going to continue to hog the ball and shoot the Lakers into or out of the game until he founds out who told his wife that he was cheating on Vanessa.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
