I think Dallas started off the season bad 0-3

But come on they are 8-3 since that point and they lost games with Fisher and Durant hitting game winning 3's

The season isn't a sprint it's a marathon and dallas is no where near as bad as Boston....

your talking about 4-8 compaired to 8-6....where's the comparison?

believe it or not they have been actually better defensively this year than they were last year with Chandler.

of course i think the difference is you don't see lineups with Terry, Dirk, Peja and Cardinal on the floor together LOL!

also one guy who keeps getting over looked defensively is Shawn Marion...i think he is one of the most underated perimeter defenders in the game today.

I know some people will say Kobe had a off night but if you look back since Marion has arrived in Dallas he's done a terrific job on Kobe. Marion is not viewed as a lock down defender but he really does play terrific defense on some of these elite wing players.

Spurs at Heat tonight....RJ should have a ton of opportunities to knock down 3s.....and Duncan/Tiago should have it fairly easy down low....

        Hopefully we get stops.

There's something seriously wrong if Laker fans want San Antonio to beat Miami.

It would be a lot worse if you agreed with Laker and Spurs fans.

That would scare the **** out of me.

What? If you wipe out the first two horrible losses that were the Mavs playing with a bunch of new players against two teams that do nothing but run, then you have a bad blowout loss to the Spurs and the loss to the Timberwolves where the Mavs couldn't generate any offense in the 4th and two last second shot losses against the Thunder and Lakers. The Mavs are playing possibly the best defense of any team in the league right now, they're going to be just fine.

The Celtics are looking old but they've played a pretty tough schedule in this 5 game losing streak.

Looks like Rose is a game time decision tonight. I say sit him. This will be the first week the Bulls will have two days off. After tonight, their next game would be Friday against Cleveland. Rose sits tonight, he'd have 5 days off. Watson is back so I'd just throw him out there tonight against the Suns. The Bulls will need him against Cleveland and Kyrie Irving. Irving been on a roll so far this year and looks like he's got an early lock for rookie of the year. Rose will have initiate the rookie and show him what it really takes to be an elite PG.

Speaking of Kyrie Irving, I got a feeling Irving will be an elite PG in the next three years. Barring injury, Irving will be in the same conversation as Paul, Rose, Williams as the best PG's in the league. It's the same projection I had with Rose when he was a rookie. I think this kid has got that 'IT' factor. It's a shame he's going to leap frog over John Wall because Wall should have been entering the conversation at least by next year. When I saw Wall play last year I had a feeling his progress was going to take a while before he enters the elite PG club. BUT I'm putting money on right now that Irving will get there before Wall.
I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. Than the one who comes up like an angel and is nothing but a devil. - Malcolm X

The problem with Wall right now in my opinion. Is that he doesn't fully have a dangerous med range game. He gets most of his stuff on fastbreak type of plays. His jumper is just not respect right now to play him out there. Kyrie on the other hand, has an array of floaters, bank shots, left hand finishes, and best of all a med range pull up jumper.
