yup. some in here posted that has some knee problems. and since he wont sit out because it would take too much time to heal, he cant even be the player he was last.

thats gonna be one of the main reasons the Mavs dont repeat this year.

Dirk might eventually be forced to sit out because of the knee, but a solid win for the Mavs tonight. Saw most of the first quarter and the last 8 minutes of the fourth and it sounds like they just shot the ball really well, played pretty solid defense (Jazz ended up shooting under 40%) and had guys step up with Dirk and JET not having their best games. Not a whole lot more you could ask for, fought through a poor third quarter in which they saw a sizeable lead evaporate and pulled a close one out. Was really impressed with Matrix and especially with the way Roddy B has played. I think he's proven with the way he's played tonight and the way he played when Kidd was injured that he deserves some time in the regular rotation.

Not sure what exactly he was trying to do. Looked like he was trying to chuck it deep and it slipped out of his hand.

Yep. Even if it was caught right away I don't think there would be enough time to find a shooter on perimeter and pass.
