He did these too. Really the only change they made was changing it from green to blue.

I preferred the green alternates. It kinda kept the historical colors in tact. I'm not feeling those navy ones at all.

Net game was pretty good last night. I don't what is going on. But everytime I go. The Nets win lol.

You know what's the funny thing about me. I like basketball way too much to like one team. So during the game I'm yelling at both teams positively or negatively. It's pretty funny to watch. The girl I went with was so confused lol.

Back to Baksetball. Can't believe the Knicks dropped another one. I don't know where to go from here. Hopefully Baron Davis can come back and change things. I think even a unhealth Davis could improve the Knicks.

edit: I missed the Wiz game. Worth a download?

Well, I only saw the fourth quarter, and from the way the game sounds like it went, I would probably be a lot less optimistic if I had seen the whole thing. There's a Mavs blog that I read that put it well, the offensive efficiency has nowhere to go but up. The Mavs efficiency on offense, especially in their losses, has been pretty dreadful, and its been the worst from the starters. I think a lot of that comes with being an older team playing such a compacted schedule because it seems the Celtics are having similar problems, but the Mavs have to find a way, especially on the road, to bare down and hit those tough shots they seem to be hitting lately at home. Its also not comforting that the Mavs are only 1-6 against teams with winning records and 7-1 against teams with losing records.

I suppose the reasons for being optimistic is that they're at this point with Dirk playing very poor basketball compared to what he can do in the past, at some point he will hopefully get his legs fully back under him and get back to 20+ a night like he needs to. Terry has been even more inconsistent than usual and Lamar Odom still hasn't had that breakout game. And as much as we like to make fun of Vince Carter, he makes an impact on the Mavs second line, he's been making smart decisions, he's been knocking down shots and he has the ability to slow the game down a little bit with his post up, and either score or draw the double and find the open man.

I suppose all I'm thinking is that with the way guys like Delonte West, Vince Carter, Brendan Haywood and Ian Mahinmi have stepped up this season, if the guys who are supposed to be our best players return to at least something close to their old form, we'll be in pretty good shape.

EDIT: And right after I type this I read that Dirk has acknowledged that his knee has been bothering him in terms of getting back into shape. It's gotta be tough to be playing through all these games, playing 30+ minutes a game, trying to get back into shape in between, all on an injured knee.
