At the very least you'll have a legitimate Center (Or, at least one who doesn't rely on a jumpshot like Mullens). I'm fairly certain Biyombo can have an Ibaka like impact if you put him at the 4 instead of center. I think that's his natural position anyways.

Yall's big men look something like this:

    PF: Tyrus, Biyombo
    C: Mullens, DJ White

You guys have solid, althetic 4's. What's the point of adding a 4 that relies on athletisicm...yet is LESS athletic than your current 4's (And has trouble finishing over guys his own size and bigger) ?

      Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion

I'm going to say that the Bobcats would be better picking up Andre Drummond. Or I'd see if I could trade back. A deal with the Cavs would be nifty. We could trade DJ Augustine, our 2nd overall pick, AND 1 or both of our second rounders for Their 4th overall pick, their 24th overall pick, and Antawn Jamison?

This way, with the 4th overall, they could go with Drummond, Barnes or PJ3.
I'd say Barnes or Drummond would be the best choice at 4th, then with the 24th pick, I'd LOVE to see Draymond Green go to the Bobcats.

I wouldn't pick Andre Drummond in the top 5 tbh, after that it's worth the risk imo

I don't want Drummond or Robinson.

I would prefer Kidd-Gilchrist in all honesty. I just think that kid is going to be such a stud. He can be an elite defender, is a great finisher, just needs a lot of work on his shot and needs to become a better ball handler to play the 3 in this league.

I'd love MKG but I don't think he gets past Washington (or even the Bobcats) so I'd also take Beal. I want no part of Barnes or Drummond.

This doesn't prove anything one way or the other. If it's rigged the league is going to try it's best to make it look legit. I don't think the league would even tell the owners they are doing it. They'll simply do it for "basketball reason" and keep it in house with the least amount of people in on it.

I think if Robinson measures at 6'9+ than he is the pick...which I would really like. He's the most complete player in the draft in terms of offensive post game, shooting touch, defense, passing, basketball IQ, maturity, and toughness. Biyombo is still a long way from being a legit starter for a solid team although so I think Robinson slides into the 4 spot instantly and becomes a go to guy. I could see him averaging 15 and 7 NEXT year.

Drummond reminds me of Favors when he was a freshman (lost on offense, passive), but at least Favors defense and rebounding made GT a much better team when he was there. I didn't see Drummond doing the same for UCONN (and in fact he slowed them down). I think he will be a solid pro eventually, but he is a project.

I mentioned earlier that on another board, someone is supposedly friends with a Bobcats scout and he told him their top 4 is Davis, TRob, Kidd-Gilchrist, and Drummond in that order and that they're in love with Robinson.

The 15 and 7 part isn't be debatable at all simply because there aren't alot of options offensively especially with Augustin gone. Not saying he will put up those numbers, but if he comes to the Bobcats he will get his opportunities.

Robinson's post game and touch around the hoop are two of the biggest concerns I have about his game.

Neither him nor Drummond will be a cornerstone for an NBA team. Drummond at this point is DeAndre Jordan, he'll be a nice big to have a quality team but that's about it. He has horrible instincts, the kind that are so bad that it really lowers his ceiling IMO. You can develop certain skills but when your so lost on a basketball court at age 18 there's just as much hope for you. His feel for the game is Javale-esq.

For a rookie post player to put up 15 & 7, he'd really have to be a phenomenal stud coming in. Dwight Howard put up 12 & 10 as a rookie just dunking the ball. At 6'8 (T-Rob is not 6'9), he's not going to be able to do that.

By comparison, Amare Stoudemire averaged 15 & 6 this past season.

T-Rob would have to be going for 20+ consistently to average out at 15 & 7 over the course of a season.

If Rich Cho (and I pray that Rich Cho is making the decisions now for Charlotte) isn't completely sold on anyone at 2, what about a trade with Portland for 6 and 11? Think Portland would be interested?

With 6 take whoever's left between T-Rob, MKG (unlikely but ya never know) Brad Beal, Drummond, and Barnes.

And with 11 you could consider Jeremy Lamb or Perry Jones? Would Zeller or Harkless be too much of a reach there depending on who was picked at # 6 if the 1st 2 are gone?

Why did I just use so many question marks?
