I find it truely sad that Billups got hurt last night. I really hope this isn't the end for him. One of those freaky injuries.
More Jermey Lin

Haven't watched ESPN (never do unless a game is on there) since but the only quote I've heard is from Kobe saying he just wants a damn sixth ring could care less about the scoring ladder.

Re: NBA Game Discussion Thread 2/05/12 - 2/11/12
Oh he cares about the scoring ladder, and the guy has not changed. Unless he gets the credit he doesnt care about the wins
The sad thing is when he's chucking up bad 27 ft 3's over and over for points, nobody ever calls him out for that crap because they're too busy screaming go kobe just to watch him chuck for points
Its like all semblance of basketball is forgotten and thats really a stinch... he got his points then got shut down and in the 2nd half and they lost...matter of fact he went all out clutch
2:50 Kobe Bryant misses 13-foot jumper
2:48 Andrew Bynum offensive rebound
2:44 Kobe Bryant offensive foul (Andre Iguodala draws the foul)
2:15 Kobe Bryant misses jumper
1:38 Kobe Bryant misses 27-foot three point jumper
1:38 Pau Gasol offensive rebound
1:27 Kobe Bryant misses 15-foot jumper
1:06 Kobe Bryant makes 9-foot two point shot
0:31 Kobe Bryant misses 10-foot jumper
0:05 Kobe Bryant misses 27-foot three point jumper
If that was LeBron dudes would lambaste him for a week.
The only reason i saw it on ESPN is because I was watching the Blazers OKC game and immediately they went to this crap. James Worthy mentioned how much the guy kept going for his own the entire first half, but I know it doesnt matter because he scored more than shaq... shrugsComment

I think since I've been on here I've never seen Dre give Kobe ANY type of credit(big or small)for anything.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NBA Game Discussion Thread 2/05/12 - 2/11/12
Btw, Kobe has earned a pass in clutch moments. LeBron has not. Simple as that.
As much as I even hate his shot selection, the guy somehow managed to be a big part of five rings. I don't know what else you want BSPN to do when a guy moves into top 5 all-time. If you thought it was just gonna show up on the bottom line well tough luckComment

Credit Philly as you said.
They doubled Kobe hard almost the entire second half and he passed out of it almost every time. By the time crunch time came his rhythm was completely taken away from him and Philly forced him into tough shots. Iggy did a great job and Kobe didn't adjust to the defensive changes. The loss came for many reasons. Lou Williams took over and his matchup was Derek Fisher. Just took Philly time to lull Kobe into taking those shots after constant doubles

Re: NBA Game Discussion Thread 2/05/12 - 2/11/12
Keith Bogans had some extra motivation against his former team Monday night.
Bogans, who signed with the Nets last week, started every game for the Bulls last season and helped them to the East finals. But before the season started, he was unceremoniously waived by Chicago.
"Every time I play them for the rest of my career it'll give me [something] added," said Bogans, who started his first game for the Nets and scored seven points in 20 minutes.
Not only did the Bulls dump him — Bogans says he never got a reason — but they held Bogans out of practice for a week during the preseason. The team's signing of Richard Hamilton made Bogans expendable, and the Bulls waited until the deadline when they would have had to pick up his $1.73 million option for this season to jettison him.
"That was kind of screwed up," Bogans said. "But it's a business, [stuff] happens. … That was kind of like a slap in the face a little bit, but it's cool."
Bogans said he's stopped trying to figure out why the Bulls cut him loose.
"When you get to the point where you can't answer ... how this happened, why this happened, you just gotta let it go," Bogans said. "So I've pretty much let it go. It's something that happened to me I can say I learned from in my career and move on."#RespectTheCultureComment
