Re: Jeremy Lin
The whole Lin thing reminds me of Flip Murray blowing up in 2003 when Ray Allen was out.[NYK|DAL|VT]

Re: Jeremy Lin
I'm starting to regret being a Knicks fan. And I thought I'd only say that because the franchise is run horribly. Instead, I'm getting embarrassed by the number of people now rooting for the team. It's getting annoying."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: Jeremy Lin
The best things being posted about him are in the 2K threads. Some guy was comparing him and Magic Johnson.
You get to read gems like this...
SpoilerThere is life outside USA.
Foreigners have to prove much more to take a chance on an NBA team.
C' mon give more chances to Asian, brazilian and others countries.
Lyn =69 is still too low for a guy like Jeremy Lin. Ricky Rubio got a major boost, and Jeremy Lin, who willed his team to victory again tonight, by showing up Rubio, is on par with some of the greatest PGs in the league today.
I haven't seen a guy like Lin, since Magic Johnson came into the league.
It's completely Amazlin'between magic's first 4 and lin's first 4, Lin has played better.no that's a fact. Why is it impossible for some to think he has a chance at being a legend in the making?Because it hasn't cost him any games. Don't hate. HE HAS HAD THE BEST START TO AN NBA CAREER EVER!

Re: Jeremy Lin
so Jason Whitlock tweeted the following the other day;
Some lucky lady in NYC is gonna feel a couple inches of pain tonight.
Funny or stupid?
My opinion...I would expect that as a tweet from Beavis & Butthead or something, but Jason Whitlock is a writer about racial in-sensitivities...you'd think he'd try not to be a hypocrite.Chicago Bears
Oregon State Beavers
Portland Trail Blazers
San Francisco Giants
Chicago Blackhawks
MLS: Portland Timbers

Re: Jeremy Lin
So the insanity of Linsanity continues I see. Apparently Sportsbook has moved Lin's odds to win the MVP from 100 to 1 to 75 to 1 and of course, someone who's either a complete moron or just has money to burn....you know what no, the economy sucks whether you have the cash or not it's stupid to place a $2400 bet on Jeremy ****ing Lin to win the MVP this year. Some degenerate gambler did it though. On the 100 to 1 odds btw.Comment
