Man, just watching that on NBA TV. Incredible dunks from Vince.

I don't get it either. Durant is more of a streaky shooter from outside, not a knockdown shooter.

Will All-Star Weekend be online anywhere? Will TNT Overtime cover it?

I never understand why they just didn't make the 3PT Selections based on

                  Top 6 in Qualified 3PT %
                  Top 2 in Makes

                  = 8 shooters.

When they throw random people in there like KD (good shooter) and AI just for the sake of names, I don't like it one big.

Well if you're going to use %'s, then you HAVE to set a minimum number of attempts to qualify like say you need at least 100 attempts and you're % has to be 35-37% or higher.

That would require the same people that decided to place Kevin Durant in the three point shooutout for the second year in a row after his incredible performance last year to use logic and reasoning.

Evan Turner set a world record for most shots made from behind the backboard in a minute

....Was broke by Ricky Rubio 15 minutes later lol

It turns out that while in Orlando for the All-Star Game festivities, Evan Turner set a Guinness World Record for a very specific feat. Turner hit 14 shots from behind the backboard in one minute.

What YEARS were the top nba 3 point contests from?
And what are the best dunk contests of the 90s?

I'm rewatching the best dunk contests since 2000, but I wanna watch some of the best 3 point contests and best dunk contests from before 2000(since 2000 was the first one i ever saw, so i want to see some from the 90s)

Hard to say really. I'm a dunk contest anti-critic so I was usually able to enjoy each season, barring a complete dunk contest meltdown (2010). My least favorite winning dunk from the 90's would probably have to be 1992 (Cedric Ceballos). My 2nd least favorite was probably Dominique Wilkins in 1990, only because he was doing his dunks on rerun at that point (though they still looked good).

1997 will have rookie Kobe Bryant. I was actually pretty entertained in 1996. A pretty solid showing from Brent Barry, Greg Minor, Jerry Stackhouse, and Michael Finley (also featuring Darrell Armstrong and his layup). 1995 wasn't too bad, but it was mostly Harold Miner doing what he did in '93. 1994 featured J.R. Rider following through on his guarantee. Also a solid showing.
