It's odd saying this after two blowouts, but I don't think the Heat will win with Spoelstra...that "leave players wide open from 3 defense ain't gonna cut it.....

Jeebs - Haven't watched much Heat game film at all this season, is Lebron utilizing the post as well as people are saying? (I assume you've watched more than me in general on this, you've always had a thing or two to say about Brons' post play)

He actually has been, and has started the season out doing it more than shooting 3's

I'd suffice to say the more he gets comfortable with it the more he will demand doubles inside, which I think is better than iso's at the top of the key looking for the open man

Miami doesn't really have a post presence in a sense.. although Bron isn't the guy that has made it apart of the staple of his game, I could see him doing it and it working well for him

He is advanced statistics (I know you guys hate these) and just watching him shows he's playing with more confidence and poise, plus he's extremely effective down there.

Absolutely on top of the key Iso then lol

Good for him not arbitrarily posting without confidence.

He definitely added something to his game that he can continue to add on to, and I think he will. As much as i've seen him post up, more than not it's ended up with a bucket...he's a mismatch on many nights so why not

Just nice to know it happens.

The whole Kobe adjusts thing is a tired narrative dudes do it besides him. LeBron's so talented he needs to be refining his game, and I know Bron posting is something we've discussed here plenty. He's such a mismatch, how can he not want to go down low and just abuse teams. With his vision and passing ability if they double he can dissect.

I think the most important thing LeBron learned from his time with Hakeem is confidence. Despite popular belief LeBron had a post game before, but he didn't have confidence. He would think rather than react to what the defense gave him. Now I'm seeing him take his time probing the defense, he knows what he wants to do but if you don't give him that he doesn't panic. It's quite remarkable really what a little confidence can do.
