LeBron, as much as i hate him, deserves the MVP. Look at his stats, efficiency, and the Heat's record. Kobe has been the most valuable to his team, but LBJ deserves it:

    1. LeBron
    2. Bryant
    3. KD
Canucks | Packers | Blue Jays | Lakers | Raptors

LeBron hasn't taken near as many threes as Durant, so I don't like this stat being in your argument.

Props to Champion for mentioning Tony Parker. I think he has to be in the discussion for what he's done for that Spurs team, being without Ginobili for most of the year, playing with a Tim Duncan who is a shell of a shell of his former self.

I think TP should be mention but IMO its Coach Pop.

Spurs were suppose to be bad so long ago yet stayed relevant despite the talent.

well if the past is any indication than bron should win his third mvp this year.. i expected his stats to drop when he made the move to miami but this is his best year statistically and if hes won it in the past but is playing even better than ever what possible argument is there for not giving it to him again?

It's interesting how folks view MVP as there seems to be so many different opinions.
Alot want's to give it to "the best player".
I'm more towards the meaning of the word most valuble.

Lebron is the best player but i don't consider him the most valuble, the heat will be fine if he was injured.

I consider Steve Nash a more valuble player as the suns would be like charlotte without him, but he's nowhere near the best player.

if i should predict where the award goes i think it goes to KD.

Historically its gone to the best player on one of the best teams. Been a few strange choices over the years but thats how it figures.

Agreed. I think Nash should win MVP pretty much every year lol.

But this has LeBron written all over it.

Still LeBron's to lose at this point. However I think it's worth mentioning, that Derrick Rose is quietly trying to make himself a little push for a repeat. If the injury bug hadn't got him this year, would have been interesting to see how things would have played out without it.

The kid is playing BALL right now.

Averaging 23 points a game... 3 boards and 8 assist.

Derrick probably will if they stay in first towards the end. But I still think it's LeBron James award to lose. With Kevin Durant nipping at his toes.

If they keep the best record and he continues to put up the numbers he's been doing since he's been back, I can see him sneaking in and taking it. However LeBron is going to be swinging full force to take it this year.

After the way he has came out in the second half of the season, Derrick Rose has definitely inserted himself back in the conversation.
