This decade? What you smoking? How many times have the Clippers made the playoffs since everyone here has been alive? Born in '84 here, 4 trips in that time span. Just three more franchise trips to be accounted for. Bear in mind they're franchise dates back to '70.

You definitely came weak AF Nathan.

I'm not going to penalize Love for Rubio and Pek going out. He has not only stepped up his play during their absence, but kept the Wolves in playoff contention. Moreover, he's producing like few players have done before him.

        4. Love

This right here... and to be honest Durant will get it if Miami keeps playing like they don't know if they wanna win or not

Durant was second place for most of the season...now it looks like he is either tied with Bron or is the frontrunner

I might be in the minority...but I think Dwight deserves serious consideration too. His team is 32-18, he's averaging 21 points on 59% shooting, and he is by far the most dominant defensive basketball player on the planet.

Yeah, he's most definitely MVP if the P is a word other than player.

I agree that he should be considered, but I disagree with that underlined statement. He's an atrocious on-ball defender, and routinely leaves his man open to go for weak side blocks.

Also, while his offensive game has improved, he's still a below average offensive big man. I can name, probably, 10 better skilled big men in league.

He's top 5, for sure. But, not at the top.

It still annoys me that he'd rather swat shots into the fifth row than keep the ball in play and turn them into fastbreaks for his team.

I'm glad Anthony Davis actually knows how to do this.

I pretty much disagree with everything you said. When has Dwight ever been an atrocious on ball defender...that's honestly the first I've heard of that. He might not be known for that, but I wouldn't label him atrocious. And he is so much more dominant than any help defender, it's not even close (see the Miami games this season and how he single handedly shut the lane down against LBJ/D-Wade). His team is top 5 in defensive shooting %, points given up, TO's forced, etc. You think that is because of Turkoglu?, J-Rich?, Redick?

And I can't see Love or Paul being ahead of Dwight at all honestly. That is just Center-bias to me. Dwight is far more valuable to his team than those guys are.

It depends who you consider a big man. If we're throwing the likes of LA in there then yeah, Howard isn't top 5 in offensive play for "big men."

As far as MVP, I see what you're saying but no, he won't get it and hasn't even crossed my mind nor others either I'm sure. And I'm sure the large part of him being a bitch about all this trade nonsense has to do with it.
