Re: All LeBron Talk Part 2

      Time for a bumpitty-bump-bump, for a LeBrizzle/Cavs update...

LeBron went for 37 tonight. After watching all but 3 or 4 Cavs games this season, it was interesting to watch LeBron lose a little of his unselfishness, to go head-to-head with one of the game's very best off-guards in PP. LeBreezy stayed with him nearly shot for shot, but in the end the wiley vet got the win by making a couple of nice passes for easy buckets late in the 4th.

It almost seems redundant to keep gushing about how amazing this kid is as a highschooler, it's almost a moot point now. This kid can play with anybody in this league. I saw something tonight that I haven't seen since MJ was terrorizing the league. LB has the ability to go up strong, draw HARD contact, stay in the air while the defender starts to descend and then make a last-second adjustment to get the bucket, and 1. He did it 6 or 7 times. With so much size and hops, he could do this every single night if he wanted to...VC is also adept at this but with his size, LeBron is starting to SEEK the big collision. I cannot even begin to imagine what type of player James will be at 24 years old, his upside is that scary. Hopefully he stays on track. (and a Cav )

In other news, Carlos boozer is looking like the best 2nd round steal in the last 5 years. 21 boards one night, 28 points the next. The kid is an automatic double-double. The amazing thing is for a tweener, he plays HUGE in the paint. He always has good position, and h's strong as an ox. He flat out snatched a board out of Battie's hands tonight. Plus his 15 footer is money, he just doesnt miss it. 4th in he league in fg%. Plus, he's become the leader of this Cavs team. Not Ricky, Bron, or Z. Boozer is becoming a top-shelf laborer.

      D. Miles again showed a glimpse of what he could become. So many people use D.Miles as the poster-child for whats wrong with the league without even seeing him play every day. Silas loves him because he's finally realized that success in this league doesn't come from just having athleticism. He's been one of, if not the hardest worker in practice, always asking questions, and working on the J. Everyone laughs now, but a jumper is a matter of repetition, refining your form and committing it to muscle memory. If he continues to work, the J will come. When Miles can get a couple of shots to go down and he gets into rythym, the kid is sick. The benching has been the best thing to happen to him, so far. It allows him to gain confidence, and to address his biggest weakness, concentration. Miles' mind tends to wander for stretches. Shorter minutes allows him to come in focused, provide some energy, and then sit. Plus we get more defensive toughness from Newble.

When Iverso...I mean when Wagner comes back, Silas said the way his shot is looking in the shooting drills, he wouldn't count him out as a starter. He says he's been very, very impressed by what he's seen. They'll have him back sometime in January.

Nicely said HMcCoy. I went to the game last night and you could definitely tell that he wanted the ball most of the time. He looked like he was in a zone or something. He didn't look as good as Pierce did (damn he's amazing), but it's the first time I've really seen him want to be the leader. Although, I have to agree that Boozer is becoming the leader of the team and for good reason.

Now, once they get rid of Ira Newble, I'll be happy.

The Cavs look like they are getting better. Even tho they still have a losing record, they have looked better. Having Boozer back definitely helps.

I heard that Silas wanted LeBron to be most unselfish at times. He wanted him to want the ball and take it to the hoop. I guess he's been doing that. Good for him. Kid has got mad game.
