I think the whole team right now is way off. They look like they're not sure of what they're gonna do. And no one seems to be stepping up and taking command.

plus, tonight they just sucked all around.

the wizards asked them if they wanted to defend the three.

the mavs just said "nah, not interested buddy."

When are these guys gonna learn not to leave people wide freaking open behind the 3pt line? This is what they've been doing the last few years. Apparently tonight they were so worried about the wiz' inside presence and scroing ability that they decided to go ahead and let whoever wanted to shoot 3's shoot them.


I think they will start gelling though.

Maybe they were frightened by the awesome inside scoring ability of Kwame Brown and Brendan Haywood. Or maybe they just don't like to play D. I will go with the latter.

Finley always seems to struggle during transitions. His first time in the playoffs, he was bad. He struggles badly when he comes off injuries.

He seems to press a lot.

And I can't wait until they trade Walker. That guy is a timebomb and a 3-for-19 waiting to happen every day.

As a huge Mavericks fan, the best thing they can do at this point is trade Finley. I have a feeling Finley has peaked, and isn't going to be as productive as he has been. The perfect scenario at this point is to trade Finley and someone else (possible Walker) to Chicago (Finley finally goes home) for Tyson Chandler and another player (not sure who, maybe Donyell Marshall). This trade gives the Bulls the explosive SG they lack and a good replacement for Chandler, meanwhile the Mavs finally get a future Center in Chandler who can lead them to a title.
