Cause that's like kicking while they're down. Hopefully the guys use that as motivation too. They already have everybody on the planet saying they're done as is, Derrick's future is still up in the air and then they get a 'nobody wants to see you' on top of that? Since when has the NBA flexed playoff games like that anyway lol? It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but like Pack was saying it's basically getting slapped in the face being knocked down to little brother status. They were already pissed for having to pull the damn noon game AGAIN on Saturday even though they AGAIN have the league's best record.

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs Discussion Thread 1st Round
It actually was the primary game(or bigger game of the two)prior to Rose getting hurt. He's the reason the game is being flexed over to ESPN2.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs Discussion Thread 1st Round
4 seed vs 5 seed should be the better game than the 1 seed vs 8 seed regardless of what teams are involved! I get that Bulls/Sixers fans might be bummed but the closer the seed the better the game should be (with or without a Derrick Rose story)Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs Discussion Thread 1st Round
It's the #1 Seed and they have/had the reigning MVP, not to mention it's the team with the best record in the league, so why wouldn't it be? It's about ratings and numbers and people WANT to watch Derrick Rose play. Not too many people care about watching the Hawks play.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs Discussion Thread 1st Round
Home court is far more advantageous in basketball than any other sport IMO.
Refs dictating important situations is too frequent, unfortunately. It wasn't always this way.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs Discussion Thread 1st Round
Amare done for the 1st round.
NEW YORK -- A league source said Tuesday afternoon that New York Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire is expected to miss the remainder of the Knicks' first-round series with the Miami Heat after badly cutting his hand hitting a fire extinguisher case in a hallway of American Airlines Arena after Miami's 104-94 Game 2 victory.
Stoudemire cut his left hand on the metal and glass box in which the extinguisher was encased, and received stitches in the Knicks' locker room afterward. He left the arena Monday night with his left arm in a sling.
The Knicks played most of the second half of the regular season without Stoudemire, who suffered from a bulging disk in his lower back March 24 and missed 13 games down the stretch before returning for the Knicks' final four regular season games.
He had 18 points and 7 rebounds in the Game 2 loss. Game 3 is Thursday evening at Madison Square Garden.
Without Stoudemire, the Knicks have played Carmelo Anthony at power forward and used J.R. Smith and Steve Novak at the small forward position.
