I hope Rose talks to his team and let's them know how pathetic that was. Keep it behind closed doors and don't let us hear about it though. I know Thibs will let them hear it, but to hear it from their captain, would be even better. Offensively, they struggled, but...the reason they lost was because of their defense, which I never thought I'd say in this series, with our without Rose.

Without Rose the Bulls are going to go through these offensive dry spells for the entire post season....against a team that can regularly put the ball in the cup it's going to be an issue....

What a game by the Sixers! I have never seen Holiday and Turner play that good together and great contribution by role players like Lavoy.

I don't know why people feel so certain that the Bulls will definitely advance. Over the last 2 seasons, both teams are 4-4 against each other. Which is why Evan Turner made his comments about the Heat over the Bulls because going into the series, they were 3-3 against the Bulls and 1-12 against the Heat.

I think this will be a very tough series.

If the Bulls continue to play like this, I really don't want to torture myself to see them play the Heat. Given that the Bulls make it that far.

If the Celtics and Bulls were to advance to the 2nd round, I don't see the Bulls getting past that one. The Celtics wouldn't need to double anybody and would be in much better position to rebound just like the Sixers were tonight.

I think this is a 6 or 7 game series. But to be honest, I think Bulls fans underestimated the trouble the Sixers could give the Bulls. I think Frank Vogel credited a game the 76ers won last year against the Bulls for the game plan he used in the playoffs last year. While the series only went 5, the Pacers gave them as much trouble as they could have.

The Sixers shot 63 percent in the second half. I'll wait another game or two before I make any further judgements on the series, but I think it's safe to assume that Philadelphia will not be shooting 63 percent in a half, let alone the second half again in these playoffs.

Agreed. But the Sixers were in the top 5 in fewest points allowed and with the likelihood that they won't have to double anybody; they should be able to cut down on giving up 2nd chance points.

Philly shot great but... and a huge but... a lot of the shots were high percentage shots. Chicago had a revolving door for Philly at the rim. Poor defense, slow rotations and awareness, and offense wasn't any better.

Chicago will struggle on offense at times. This isn't going to change. However, if Jo is giving you 21 points on 10/11 shooting then the game has to be closer if not leading.

Game 3 will be a deciding game in this series either way.

Very true, but with or without Derrick, this team is one of, if not the best defensive teams in the league. I can't forsee Philly getting the looks they got on a consistent basis moving forward and as Charles Barkley pointed out last night, most of the damage done by Philly was done in transition. They basically did what the Heat do to teams and feasted on fastbreaks and dunks. If they continue to do it, more power to them, we can tip our caps and move on, I just don't see them doing it though. Not in this next game anyway.

Half of Amar'e Stoudemire's hand was "hanging off" after punching the glass enclosure of a fire extinguisher on Monday, according to a source.

I know this is random but the last couple regular season and few postseason games I really like the pacers now....weird.
