At least as a Nets fan we start the season every year with no hope. Being a fan of one of the best teams in the league and watch them drop like flies one by on in the playoffs has to hurt worse. That just plain sucks.HELLO BROOKYLN.

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs Discussion Thread 1st Round
Is it January yet? Damn.
You're right LionsFan. It's much worse. This is the most disappointed I've been in a Bulls season I think ever. At least during the early part of the 2000's I knew we sucked, no expectations there. Having this year end like this? Bleh! I kind've had a feeling though things would eventually end this way. Anytime people start talking about end of the year matchups like forgone conclusions, it doesn't ever even happen, like when we all thought it was going to be a Lakers/Cavs Finals every year.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs Discussion Thread 1st Round
Miami seriously has to have one of the easiest paths to the finals I've seen in recent years. Absoultely not their fault, or trying to take anything away from them, just pointing it out. With all the injuries and the conference not being what it was, they had better make it to the finals.Comment

Man, JR Smith has been awful, and Landry Fields has actually played pretty solid. Don't know why JR is starting the 3rd or why Woodson thinks he's going to give a spark.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment
