If that's the case, why isn't John Wall a good player yet while Westbrook is one of the best in the game? It isn't all athleticism.

Wall is on a **** team where he is asked to be the best player. Westbrook plays on a team loaded with talent and plays 2nd banana to one of the best players in the NBA.

Because John Wall can't play off anyone on his team. No one even approaches the caliber of Harden, much less Durant. Wall has to do everything out there.

Oh, and he can't shoot, but that still hasn't stopped him from averaging 18+ with the entire defense keying in on you.

You don't think Westbrook would look like a good player if he were the go-to guy? I'm not even talking statistically. Wall doesn't play like a good player most of the time.

I didn't say that. I'm just saying that John Wall is as equally, if not more, gifted as Westbrook.

Of course, playing on a ****ty team as the primary scorer is entirely different than playing on a ****ty team and having to distribute the ball.....

And he STILL averages more assists than Westbrook.

He is awesome and I absolutely love his game, but relax with the hyperbole.

Not saying he couldn't ever, but it damn sure wouldn't be "easily" lol.

Second weakest position in the NBA, where the 2 best players (Wade & Bryant) are on the wrong side of 30. The next group after them is filled with injury prone (Ginobili & Eric Gordon), smallish (Monta Ellis), or inconsistent (Tyreke Evans) players.
