Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
LAC stocking up on semi-chuckers I see.
Not sure how I like it, but I guess they just replaced Foye/Young with Crawford/Brooks...
But for a protected lotto pick, I can't co-sign it 100%. If they could have got a big body I would have liked it more.Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
If you have a guy who you know doesn't want to stay you have to trade him. Last season was awful for that squad. Drama kills a team. Along with having Jordan as your owner but what can I say lol.The Buzz is Back in the Queen City. Cho........I have no idea what you are going to do in this draft man.Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
Meh, He provides enough of a defensive prescence not to be a hindrance on the floor. You forgot Chauncey who's all but set to return and Crawford (who I think they already locked in). There will be time at SF bc Butler can't stay healthy sitting on his couch and probably isn't worth normal minutes anymore anyway. Still looks like a log jam.
I wouldn't even include Jordan here btw, but that's just me. I know you were listing a starting lineup.
At least the Clippers are protecting the pick this time.
I think Brooks can play SF in spurts. I wouldn't be surprised if Crawford played some time there too in order to take advantage of mismatches.
But yeah, you'd probably have Crawford and Brooks coming off the bench, providing you more than enough firepower to sustain until the starters come back in.
And yeah, with Billups to direct the offense in the starting lineup along with Paul, that is a very scary team.Comment

So is LA signing on the last part of this, or is the Humphries thing still an issue?Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

I understand your frustration, but really K-Love??

Brooks can't play SF and if you have him and Crawford on the floor together while CP3/Chauncey are on the bench, it will literally become 2 on 5.

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
No idea why the Clippers wouldn't jump on that. Brooks is legit and then they can make a guard rotation of Paul/Billups/Crawford/Brooks and flip Bledsoe for something. I know the whole "people don't trade big for small" thing but Bledsoe has to have some value out there, and more than likely can pull in a solid roleplaying big, which is what they need and won't find otherwise.Comment

As much I dislike the Clippers now, especially with them adding Lamar, they're going to be even more fun to watch this year.
Also, what world are we in that the Clippers front office is making better deals than the Mavs front office?NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
NBA: Dallas Mavericks
MLB: Texas Rangers
NHL: Dallas Stars
NCAA: Alabama Crimson Tide

Clippers were going to be a legit team without Brooks....

Can't really blame him, he sees super teams being assembled everywhere, its become fairly obvious that unless you're on one of these teams (or Minnesota makes some drastic changes) there won't be much playoff success and certainly no championships in his near future.I understand your frustration, but really K-Love??

What if trade talks fall apart?
Cleveland is getting a good deal out of this trade
2 first round picks, and 3 rotation playersComment

If Dwight Howard's back is fine, and this deal goes down, I'd be scared as hell of the Nets
Williams
Johnson
Wallace
Teletovic
Howard
Because the only players who really need the ball in there hand to be effective is JJ and D-Will.
Wallace can make a big impact in other aspects as well as getting you points in the flow of the offense.
Teletovic will just shoot threes.
Howard is already dominating, and pairing him with D-Will, will make him even better.Chicago Bulls
Chicago Bears
Wisconsin BadgersComment

I agree, it's just funny how he referred to himself as greatness. Could have worded that a bit better... hahaha. No dambs were given at allComment
