Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
Mavs still have Brandon Wright? He will probably take up Ian's minutes and he showed some promise last year..EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

HoopsHype
The New York Knicks have signed forward Christopher Copeland, agent John Spencer told HoopsHype. The former Colorado player averaged 21.8 ppg and 5.5 in the Belgian League for Generali Okapi Aalstar last season.

lol Chris Kaman is NOT making this all better. Not even close. But it does make me feel a little better. Especially if we land Elton Brand as well.
We better get to resigning Delonte though...NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

I'm intrigued by this. I'm gonna miss Ian but signing Kaman and then probably getting Brand are going to make him expendable, and I think Collison could be a solid player for us. Dahntay Jones is Dahntay Jones though.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

If you would've watched Roddy play last year, you would understand. He didn't do much with his minutes. I wanna see the Mavs let the guy play the 2 though, that's his natural position. Let Collison and (hopefully) Delonte run point.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
I take this if I'm the Blazers. Two firsts from Minny could be lottery picks (of course it depends on what protection is put on them).
The Trail Blazers and Timberwolves are discussing a deal that would bring Portland free-agent forward Nicolas Batum to Minnesota in exchange for two future first-round draft picks and a veteran small forward acquired from a third team, a league source told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher.
The Timberwolves will sign Batum to an offer sheet if the deal can't be completed by Wednesday night, the source said.
But Minnesota is trying to avoid the risk of Portland matching the offer sheet by compensating the Blazers the future picks and a small forward to replace Batum in the lineup.
Blazers general manager Neil Olshey said Wednesday the team would match any offers for Batum, who reportedly agreed with the Timberwolves on a four-year, $45 million offer with bonuses that could push the deal past $50 million.
Agent Bouna Ndiaye also told the Associated Press that Batum wanted to play for the Wolves and that they hoped the Blazers either would not match the offer or execute a sign-and-trade.
The Timberwolves and Blazers have targeted a particular third team and player to complete the transaction, but the source did not identify them.
A four-year veteran, the 6-foot-8 Batum averaged 13.9 points and 4.6 rebounds -- both career highs -- with Portland this past season.
