Looks like the Mavs won't try to get Terry back.
I wish the Knicks would release a statement saying the same to Landry Fields.

If you paid attention to what D-Will has been saying the whole offseason, it was never that promising to begin with. I think Nash would be a worthy investment.

Yes I do. PG is still a question but Hamilton drops to the 6th man role. Brewer has to go. We already have a younger and cheaper Brewer and his name is Butler.

Pretty simple. They aren't willing to spend as much money as the Celtics are offering him. Its not like he had a great season for us last year either. I'd rather have Brandon Roy for less money and bring back Delonte West anyways. I know there's a big emotional connection with him in Dallas, but its time to move on from JET.

The Mavs were only interested in bringing Jet back on a 1 year deal, which Jet has already said he wouldn't be accepting. The writing was on the wall last year that Jet would no longer have a runway in Dallas.

I'm ready for a mediocre year next season. I'm trying to hold out hope that this is not the case, but I just don't see this team improving that much with what is out there.

The thing is that you have to hit the "cap floor" under the new CBA, so you gotta pay somebody, even if it's just one year deals again.

Being that I live in the DFW metroplex and had to hear ad naseum for the past season, not just a few weeks, or a few months, but a whole dang season about how this master plan for Deron Williams was going to go down with the main factor of reason being he played ball here at the Colony....

Today is a very good day. Sucks for Mavs fans I'm sure, but for those of us who aren't fans that live here. Very nice watching them kick rocks today. Not sure why they put so much of their eggs in the D-Will basket in the first place. I always thought they should have been going after a post player over a PG..

I think Nash to Toronto is not going to happen. I saw an article on realgm saying Nash is giving time to the Knicks to get a S & T going again. I'm guessing Nash's list is as follows:

                          1) NY
                          2) Dallas
                          3) Toronto

If that's the case....damn that hurts!!

Question: if that's the case can't Toronto pull the offer for fields off the table ?? They can do that right? Cause he was obviously given the offer to try and block NY.

Also.....if no Nash......it's gonna be Calderon forever!!! Just give the man a lifetime contract.

I don't believe that. I think Nash will be a Raptor.

Phoenix has signed Eric Gordon to a max offer sheet, and Gordon saying that his heart is in Phoenix.
