I think Nash will bring our offense to a much higher level than Lin or anyone else can. Plus he can shoot his *** off to help spread the floor. Even at his age he is in another stratosphere than Lin.
    Our Defense was worse!!

It got to the point where Miami was toying with us. If it wasn't for late game heroics at home...we would've got swept.

Don't you remember Chandler picking up fouls left and right because our backcourt couldn't guard anyone?

      They're not.

I'm totally against the Knicks giving up Shumpert for Nash. And I know I'm in the minority here.

I can't believe the Knicks are about to do this. Why draft guys? Just ship off your first rounders every year and sign a bunch of old PGs to man the roster. Then watch them break down late in the year.

For everything Nash can give you on offense...who's he gonna guard? We have enough matadors on defense- Amare, Novak, Lin
      totally agree agree with u.

the things Shumpert gives to the knicks are indispensable. his hustle, defense, and energy off the bench should not be taken for granted. plus his offense will improve.

no way u trade him away for Nash.

I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.
yea but will they take psn cards
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

Our defense wasn't that awful outside of Game 1 considering how gutted we were. Miami shot 43% or worse as a team the last three games. That was a very ugly series, Miami looked worse on offense against us than any other series this postseason.

I really hope we can get it done without giving up Shumpert. But if it came down to it, I'd give him up.

And, yea, roster wouldn't be done. They would still have the mini mid level to give out. I think they'd go after Marcus Camby to give them depth in the front court. Bring back Lin, Novak, Smith. If they keep Shumpert too, and if he can get healthy next year, that's a contender.

Either way...it's a totally unfair comparison as we were getting Melo in his prime. Nash is 38 years old. You're getting him at the backend of his career.

I find it hard to believe that the Suns really would've accepted Landry (in Shumpert's place) along with Toney Douglas and assorted scrubs. Shump was going to be trade this whole time if he's the deal breaker in this.

Maybe because it was the 1st round.

But the Knicks did not play better team defense against Miami than Indiana and Boston.

                            They simply did not.

Fields is a great defender, not the best ever but he's great.

Dwane Casey needs more guys like that, he's been eyeing Fields for quite a while.

Just because he sucked at the end of his run in NY, it doesn't necessarily mean he's going to be 10x as bad in TO.
