I could see this working. Dude is an athletic freak.

He has been in some bad positions since coming in the league, but him being outcast is mostly his fault. I think a positive winning environment would be good for him. Would happily watch Brewer be shipped out to bring him on board for cheap.

Yeah, one thing that annoys me about the Bulls, and Chicago teams in general, is they never seem to take risks on the guys that are headcases, but have a ton of skill.

I'm not sure Terrence Williams will ever be an offensive weapon (being in Sacramento definitely isn't helping) but in Thibodeau's system and with his athletic tools, he could definitely be a player similar to Iggy. Good defender, meh jumper, athletic freak. Obviously Iggy is significantly better, but T-Will has that potential.

Although the Bulls could use some more athleticism, since all they really got is Rose, Taj, and Butler with Noah being a good athlete at center. I don't think Williams is a player we should be looking at, because he from what I heard has a ****ty work ethic which makes me think he'll never reach his potential.

I would rather have Brandon Rush or Courtney Lee.

And I would take the risk of an injured Brandon Roy any day over the risk of T-Will reaching potential.

And I would rather let Teague start and develop rather than let some dude like Fisher take minutes away from someone like Teague who could be coming more accustomed to the NBA Game

Although it may not sound like it from the previous couple pages, I believe I belong to the "patience" side.

Ever since the ECF against the Heat in 2011, I'd always been under the belief that the Bulls need another ball handler/scorer (why I said Nick Young) if they seriously want to compete.

I know people say the offense runs through Rose, which it does and why people thought Hamilton would be good because he is great off ball, but I always will remember going into the fourth quarter of those games and the Heat doubling Rose and he would throw it off to someone, and they would never be able to make a play. That's also really why I wanted Jamal Crawford because I knew that even though he would "stop" the flow of the offense at times, he would be good in the playoffs because he has the ability to create his own shot.

That being said, what I think would be a good offseason for the Bulls would be:

Sign Hinrich to play PG until Rose and then be a combo guard once he's back
Sign Roy to come off the bench as a 7th man after Taj
Let Asik go to the Rockets
              Waive Kyle Korver
              Waive CJ Watson
              Waive Ronnie Brewer
Sign Ian Mahinmi to fill the Asik role
Sign Donte Greene to round out the bench, and since he's 6'11" he could play SF and PF
And then sign Brian Scalabrine because that is what you do

              Rose/Hinrich/Teague
              Rip/Roy/(Hinrich)
              Deng/Butler/Greene
              Boozer/Taj/(Greene)/Scalabrine
              Noah/Mahinmi

This could end up being relatively cheap, but getting players in Hinrich and Greene who can play multiple positions, getting Mahinmi who could just come in and play some D and get some boards, and then Roy who could be a great scoring threat off the bench if healthy.

This also gets us to 13 players.

Well the Bears did trade for Brandon Marshall. Maybe now is the perfect time for a change with the Bulls as well.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. Phil Emery (bears new GM) seems to be less worried about attitudes and more about talent. Jerry Colangelo would have never done that trade. I'm really happy with what emery has done, and I'm pumped for football so he's an exception to what I said.

This is a plan of action that I can get behind. The only thing I would say is if the Brandon Roy thing doesn't really work out because he wants to go to Indy or Dallas or something, I have no issues with settling with Courtney Lee.

I'm not of the mindset that some grand homerun in free agency has to be hit for the team to be successful since this team has NEVER hit that homerun. For whatever reason top guys want no part of Chicago. I think that bastard Krause did too much damage in relationship management that guys still see this as the team that ran Jordan out of town.

Kaman had to go, he had a big contract and will most likely still want some $$. He was kind of a black hole on offense, he'd get points but he'd throw up way too many shots to do it.

Gordon ain't gone yet and even if they do a S&T the Hornets could still get some valuable assets.

I don't want Marshall. I'd want Gortat and next year unprotected pick. Plus they would have to find another team or two to add more assets.
