I forgot the Magic didn't have a head coach.

Now things are getting serious for Raptors lol.

They have 14 guys signed right now, but roster is a mess:

        C-4 guys can play there(Bargnani,Gray,JV,Johnson)
        PF-4 guys can play there(Acy,Bargnani,Davis,Johnson)
        SF-3 guys can play there(Kleiza,Fields,Anderson)
        SG-5 guys can play there(Kleiza,Fields,Anderson,DeRozan,Ross)
        PG-3 guys can play there(Calderon,Lowry,Lucas)

So Raptors have 6 guys playing either C and/or PF, 5 guys playing SF and/or SG and 3 PG.

Calderon of course is 1 guy who will be traded, just don't know when that'll happen.

Of course, with the 12 man roster, Anderson and Gray(or Acy) most likely won't even be playing for Raptors. Was hoping Raptors could have traded Kleiza and Calderon for a guy who ONLY plays SF, and maybe a pick too.

Brian Shaw must be a bad interview or something. Surprised he hasn't landed a head coaching job yet.

            Good luck Coach Vaughn.

Pretty much what I think as well. Seems like he's just a placeholder for the inevitable rebuild and youth movement.

One thing that puzzles the hell out of me is why they re-signed Jameer Nelson. They know the situation they're in, they know that at this point they're probably not getting much value in return for Duhrama Queen and they know they're going to have to bottom out with the way their team is currently built with all these old players who have bloated, long-term contracts. Why keep adding to the mess that's already been built?

But whatever, Orlando has pretty much laid their death bed out for themselves so I can't empathize too much.

I agree, resigning Nelson was not only questionable but idiotic.

Believe it or not but he's already 30 years old and has been on the decline every year since that Finals run. There wasn't much competition for him and Orlando just bid themselves over.

The future movement is coming so for $19m why is he locked up? It's a move that shows where Orlando management is in... the gutter. I have no doubt some of us from OS could run things much better than Orlando has done.

No way, paying Jameer who hasn't been the same since that shoulder injury and scuttling Ryan Anderson out was brilliant work on Orlando's end. /sarcasm

Feel bad for Orlando in this Dwight thing, but they've done nothing to brighten the picture to pitch to Dwight in all these don't leave me sessions.

Like I said in February the best Orlando could have done is pushed a Dwight to LAC deal for Griffin. If I was Orlando I would be calling LAC everyday... instead it seems they have a group of management that is torn on two different things. Rebuilding and building around Dwight which is turning into this terrible roster and situation. Might be even worse than Atlanta's owner/management.

Dark days for Orlando fans... might clear up as long as Orlando doesn't deal Dwight to Houston for their collection of bench players.

I'm with you, not a fan of the table scrap players Houston has left to swap out for Dwight. They still have the picks on deck, but lost some cap with Lin and Asik. Houston broke down that roster too far imo to make a viable package, but I could be wrong. Orlandos roster is in shambles though, theyve done nothing to address the problems they have. Teams going to be non playoff on the East at this rate, with a brand new arena that ain't paying for itself.

Yeah and unless you're getting an assurance that he'd resign with you(after he becomes a FA of course)why would you(Clippers) make that move?

Well, one, I wouldn't resign Nelson which would be a much better job already.

I'm not talking about LAC's ends... talking about Orlando. There have been numerous sources that confirmed Orlando hasn't been calling LAC to try to work out a deal. Of course they could be but based on what we know they haven't.

For Clippers it's a great deal to get two birds with one stone. Trade for Dwight , a resigned Dwight and resign CP3. Tell CP3 you're trading for Dwight but his signature on a extension is required.

And based on what we "know" Duhwight only wants to go to one team. Otherwise if that "rumor" wasn't true, don't you think he would've been moved by now? Especially if it's this easy?

As for resigning Nelson, ya'll making it sound like the dude is no longer good or that there were better options(Let's be real, they weren't going to get Deron who would be the only upgrade out there for that position)or that his contract is ridiculously bad(3 year, $19.7 Mil)compared to the other contracts that have been dished out*cough*Jeremy Lin*cough*.

The only thing I'll criticize Orlando on is not hiring a Head Coach sooner because I thought that should've been a bigger priority than trading Duhwight since technically he's still under contract and you're not under some deadline to hurry up and move him at this point.
