So that whole lockout Gm's were complaining about Superteams and talent all on one team, but yet GM's are willing to trade their best players to one team? What sense does that make?

Side Note: So that makes Shaq, T-Mac, Dwight who all left Orlando? Am I forgetting someone?

Oh ok, my mistake. My post still stands for the other people complaining about Orlando trading Dwight.

2nd round of playoffs could be potentially sick. Lakers, Spurs, Thunder, Clippers in the West and Knicks, Nets, Celtics, Heat in the East.

The good thing about super teams is it makes for entertaining playoff ball.

All these players could potentially be in the 2nd round:

Kobe, Howard, Pau, Nash, Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka, Paul, Griffin, Melo, Amare, Chandler, D-Will, Johnson, Wallace, Rondo, Pierce, Garnett, LeBron, Wade, Bosh, and Ray Allen.

If the seeding ends up like this, I would be stoked.

        1-Lakers vs. 4-Clippers
        2-Thunder vs. 3-Spurs

        1-Heat vs. 4-Knicks
        2-Celtics vs. 3-Nets

        1-Lakers vs. 2-Thunder

        1-Heat vs. 2-Celtics

        Heat vs. Lakers finals

Which is the perfect deal if a total rebuild is the plan. That deal not only would have given them good young talent from this past draft, the next draft and then future drafts. It gets rid of most there bad/awful contracts.

And they turned that deal down? I just don't get it?

Yeah but Lakers weren't the only suiters. In fact they offered the worst deal out of the three.

I would too. Life isn't bad for Lakers fans.

Maybe everybody will finally get that Kobe vs Lebron Finals. *puke*

In that Post I was referring to how the Lakers got Nash for basically nothing.

As for Dwight the Lakers offered the worst trade out of the deals that were out there. Both the Nets and Rockets offers were better.

Exactly. This deal they took was the worst deal out of all the real deals on the table and the rumored ones. Orlando pretty much gains nothing from this deal and instead becomes arguably the worst team in the NBA and completely pisses off their fan base. Orlando comes out looking as bad as possible on this one.

Also who knew that Ibaka would be this good? That is the sign of an excellent talent evaluator. So saying their success is largely luck is disrecpectful to the guy who went against the grain and succeeded.
Well you don't think it was luck where Durant basically fell into Presti's lap? Heck, the Blazers actually made the pick for him. If the Blazers take Durant we aren't even having this Presti is a great talent evaluator question. That to me is the definition of a big shiny horseshoe.

Unfortunately we've seen this movie before. Looks like 04 all over again
                                What exactly is wrong?

People can complain about LA getting whoever they want all the time, but don't blame LA for Orlando's incompetence. It's not LA's fault they give up Bynum and Orlando ends up with ****. In the end, they still give up their center of the future, probably a top 3 center in the league. The trade-off is pretty close to even on that in terms of Dwight for Andrew.

Now if you think the 3 first rounders for a 38 year old Steve Nash is such a travesty, then that's fine.
