In the end, they still give up their center of the future, probably a top 3 center in the league. The trade-off is pretty close to even on that in terms of Dwight for Andrew.

Now if you think the 3 first rounders for a 38 year old Steve Nash is such a travesty, then that's fine.
    You aint foolin me

You're the same dude who said he lost respect for Ray wanting to go to Miami and now the Lakers get half of team usa without any free agency happening and you say whats wrong

There are no humble Lakers fans to be honest and certainly not here

humble and Lakers fans dont even match. Even when they lose most people in this city claiming fanhood are still arrogant or dont want to talk to you about basketball because they lost

You have to realize that fronts aren't just weather systems to those who are associated with the Lakers or Los Anghelles in general.

This is the way it goes. Just gotta deal with it.

I mean even the Yankees have to pay for players, they pay big bucks, they pay big luxury tax fees, not only that but the Yankees have to wait till these guys hit Free Agency. The Lakers on the other hand get these players gift wrapped.

Card carrying Laker ***** here. I'm conflicted now because I'm a big Nash fan and I have also enjoyed Howard play.might have to suspend my card for a couple years.
Reminds me of when the Lakers landed Malone (and GP). Malone was one of my all time favs(just behind Zeke). I found myself pulling for the Lakers in the Finals that year. Shame Malone's knee gave out or he would have got his ring that year.

On another note, has there been a more spoiled athlete in Sports than Kobe? Outside of the Post Shaq/Pre Gasol years, my man has had it GOOD with playing with some great talent.

                Stop playing dumb.

They couldn't get it done without making it a 4-team deal.

Screw Orlando. They had better deals on the table for a year. And now they succumb to this?

It's cool. Be happy. But don't play this "it's even" crap. I'm a Yankee fan. I know what it is. I don't gloat. But I also know there are maybe only 1 or 2 other teams in the entire league that can do what we can do.

Enjoy it man. But don't be naive. That makes the rest of us look stupid.
I never claimed it's even. You need to stop taking it to that level...

But you're thinking about this from a Laker Fan perspective and not from a non Laker Fan perspective.

It's not about simply "Andrew leaving and Dwight coming". The frustration is towards Orlando because all summer they "claimed" they wanted young players, cap relief AND draft picks(non protected picks)but then you see this and your first reaction is "WTF?".

Nobody is saying it's a conspiracy or travesty though, Ex lol. Who's saying it's unfair to the league though? I haven't seen anyone say that or imply that.
None of what you said has anything to do with what I was saying though... I would say Dre is saying it's some sort of conspiracy. That's who I was responding to.

What the hell does Ray Allen have to do with this? You seriously never cease to surprise me with how much reaching you do and bringing up past topics.. trying to stir things up.

No humble Laker fans in here, no honest Laker fans? I would wager others would disagree with you, and I doubt anybody cares about your opinion on anything regarding Los Angeles. You have never had the most level opinions about the organization or the city

                  Nope, There hasn't.....

I'm sure there's an alternate reality, Where he stays on the Hornets and doesn't get spoiled with talent. I only wish I could get a glimpse of it

**** speak for yourself, I am. I want all the Laker facilities/offices checked. Mitch/West/Buss got a computer that got the 'Trade Override' option clicked past yes to 'Hell ****ing yes!' ONLY do the Lakers get to pull off this type of **** repeatedly. If it happened once, sure I'd be pissed just cause I hate the Lakers and everything about their city and fans, but I'd get over that quickly enough. A few days and boom onto the next one. With these dudes though, it's a consistent thing over the history of the league especially in my lifetime.

also if the trade-off was "pretty close" then like bigeast said it would of been a two team trade

Did I say even though? Did you not read that Dwight is obviously better than Drew?

Do you think it's that much of a travesty for Dwight and Drew to be traded for each other? If you do, OK, I just want to make sure.

IMO it's not that lopsided of a trade [theoretically if they were traded straight up]. Is it even? No.

                                So the official final deal.

Lakers get Howard, Earl Clark and Chris Duhon

                                Nuggets get Andre Iguodala

Sixers get Bynum and J Rich

Magic get Afflalo, Harrington, Vucevic, Harkless, McRoberts and Eyenga plus the three ****ty protected draft picks.

                                Unbelievable.
