The plus is, now he has a lot less pressure to be a star. Kid could be good. Needs some serious coaching.

Think Martin has finally found a home. Hes a much better scorer than Harden, IMO.

I think OKC took a step back with this move. The Thunder are really going to be relying on Durant and Westbrook to do almost all of the scoring/playmaking and I don't know if that is good enough to win a title.

Agreed, but they're also completely different players. What Martin will bring to OKC should be very very interesting. Does he start now?

Scoring isn't necessarily what OKC needs. However shooting is what they need, so in that sense, Martin's services are needed. I don't know it's really tough for me to say if OKC is better.

I wonder if Martin is more of a volume scorer but it should be interesting to see how he gels with Durant and Westbrook. I thought Harden was a better playmaker than Martin. I wonder if OKC will consider trading Martin at the deadline if Lamb plays well.

            I completely disagree.

Maybe I'm just not that big of a fan of Martin and will be proven wrong.

Lamb is going to be a good player. I was really excited about having him here and I really feel that either him or Beal is going to turn out to be the best SG in this draft class.

After watching him in preseason though, it's going to take some time with him.

I'm not feeling the moves right now even though Houston got fleeced unless these guys can contribute big as a combo

I would be shocked if they dealt Martin. Their team will not win a title without Martin producing big numbers or at least playing big minutes.

I really do think OKC was a better team before the trade. But we are all just speculating, season's gonna start soon and we'll see how the new acquisitions mesh with KD & Russ.

He rejected 4/52 and is gonna get 4/60 from Houston. 8 million dollars is a lot but he basically blew his shot at winning a title and I'm sure he was loved in OKC with all the "Fear the Beard" things. I think he and his agent tried playing hardball with OKC and they got burnt.

Yes, this season. But how about the next few years? Are they just going to sit back and wait for Lamb and the draft picks to develop?

Harden wants over 4 years though, correct? I think that was one of the reasons he rejected OKC's deal as well.
