Think people are seriously underestimating Eric Maynor. Now he doesn't have to play second fiddle ball handler to Harden.

OKC, both financially and talent wise, have an amazing future.

I agree. I feel like this is a trade that should work but I wouldn't be surprised to look back and feel like it didn't work for both sides.

How is it weird? As you can tell, OKC don't see much of a difference from James Harden and Kevin Martin.

Seriously, I'll take that cut if it means me winning in OKC, rather then rotting in Houston. Maybe he wants to be the guy, something I doubt he can ever do.

IDK tehova. I usually side with the players in terms of their money.. but damn. 54 million would have been sufficient.

It's really a damn shame as a basketball fan. 54 million??? That was already overpaying.

Lamb went from being a key man in the rotation, to fighting for minutes. It's going to be tough with Thabo and Martin in front of him. Surprised one of Royce White/Terrance Jones wasn't included, but I guess OKC preferred draft picks with PJ3 on the roster.

Unless you are 30 why the hell would you take less money? Harden hasnt made his money yet.

I don't get it really...but it seems like they had this ready if he decided to say no

He's probably in his rom with the deer in the headlghts look on his face when his friends called him and told him what he really just did

It could be more than that. Maybe he just wants to be labeled as a "max" player. Sounds weird but ego plays a part sometimes. Also, he would never be the man in OKC. Only one basketball to go around.

Oh, and tehova, were you the one who was telling me Kevin Durant was just a taller Kevin Martin back in the day? I lol'd when I heard this trade, that convo was the first thing I thought of. Funny how they're teammates now.

Nah, Lamb wasn't key if the later pre-season games were any indication and Livingston was playing mins behind Martin. Most already cut him our of the rotation.

Also no way would the Rockets give up Jones and Lamb, Jones has been the best rookie out of the bunch and likely will be starting before the season is over.

I think he was just put under the gun because he was last (which he had no control over obviously), everybody else got paid he sat and watched them get their money. When its time to feed me, lets not start talking about being conservative after ya'll had buffet. You can sign for less money to play in "OKC" yet they can trade you the same way they just did even tho you did the right thing for the team. Get your money first, then let them figure the rest out, trade me wherever with my max dollars

I am happy for Kevin McHale, though, - those looks on his face when Kevin Martin pretended to play defense, were priceless.

I just thought this trade was random.

I finish playing 2k for the night, go to realgm.com, and BOOM, Harden to Rockets.
