I still wouldn't rule the Nets out in getting Dwight. They have a younger core of players to surround him with and could potential offer a better package (Lopez, Brooks and picks) than what Los Angeles can offer. They'd be hamstrung by that absurd Joe Johnson contract in the future, though.

Welp

I'm guessing Grant Hill didn't go to Germany to undergo the same platelet-enrichment treatment on his knee as Kobe Bryant to just retire.Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
I keep reading Lakers or retirement for him. How would he fit, salary wise?
I'm sure a fellow OSer could explain that one.
On another note, they're already starting to come out...

I'm guessing LA still has a MLE
Probably be used on either Hill or Rashard Lewis... I wouldn't mind Jamison either.
LA needs a shooterComment

I can't believe Rashard Lewis is going to make 14 Million next year, and still will only sign to a "select few" teams for the minimum. Is the robbery he's already committed not enough?Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Yeah, whatever bro. You seem excited to bring back old topics to prove people "wrong". Good for you.
Although I'm still waiting on this retraction that supposedly is coming.
I posted Steve's initial quote, taking him for his word, and related it to what I was trying to say about Ray Allen possibly going to Miami. The whole "lose respect" thing got taken the wrong way and I tried to further explain it later, but apparently you didn't understand.
Bottom line: ideally would I like to see Steve Nash go to a team like the Lakers or the Spurs? Not really. Now that it's happened, am I going to be at all upset over it [even if he were to sign with said Spurs]? Not really. It's simply my opinion that I'd like to see certain players not sign with certain teams. Nothing more nothing less.
Carry on with your trolling though.
Ummm nobody called you upset I said I see now that nash puts in la youre cool wit it but want when ray going to miami and its from the same quote posted today
Taken the wrong way or not
Its not trolling its my observation

I'm crushed. Going to the redcross and donating all my Nash jerseys.
At least the suns are getting younger. We got Beasley, hopefully EG comes through and if Suns get Dragic, then I can somewhat see a possible future. I'm gonna go to be emo for the next couple days.Comment

Once again, you seem to not understand at all what my stance is on free agency, or you simply refuse to acknowledge it. Either way, good for you.
It's not ideal for Nash to end up in Los Angeles in my eyes, but I'm not retracting a thing. I would have loved to see him go to the Knicks.Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
Because they're in the luxury tax range they only have the mini mid-level exception and not the full MLE. 3 mil to offer vs. 5 mil.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Despite his request, league source reiterated tonight that Hornets will match $58M sheet Suns committed to Eric Gordon Tuesday.- David Aldridge
I kind of would like to see them get involved in more discussions with other FAs tho unless they are just waiting for everything to pan out, in that case if you're gonna match get on it now. Need a starting 5 for at least this season and one or 2 other role players.Last edited by Chrisksaint; 07-05-2012, 12:31 AM.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment
